Following a problem in the calculation in Elo scores of the Amnezy tournament from last Wednesday at 4 PM (French time) to yesterday at 2 PM (French time), the Elo scores displayed in the game were false.
This morning we fixed the problem: all the results of the fights have been recalculated since the beginning of the Amnezy tournament.

To compensate this problem, until the end of the Amnezy tournament of this week, the gains in crystals will be transfered completely to the players, and in addition the pot will receive the half of this amount.

NB (new rules of the Amnezy tournament): In order to fight agreements in tournaments, we modify rules for Elo gain, when two players fight together several times. When a player (A) beats a player (B) in tournaments with Elo ranking, if the two players play another time together and the player (A) wins the fight, the Elo gain is divided by 2, and again divided by 2 if they fight together and that the player (A) wins again, etc. This malus will return to zero as soon as the player (B) wins a game against the player (A).

Moreover we reinforce our anti-cheat process. A rules abuse can be punished from a ban for tournaments to a ban from the game.

Guess some of the not-so-honest top elo players have to think of other way than trading wins to dominate elo

Well, I think a high end multi account will be the new way to dominate

especially the players who stayed all-the-time in front of their PC.. to excel and always fight with the same person.. ^_^

It is still a group of people giving each-other wins, not just two.
I hope this will be sufficient but I wouldn't mind Amnezy tournament closing hours to be moved towards a more populated hour to reduce odds of free wins even more.

Multi-account is prohibited by Feerik's T&C. I'm just curious why it is not being enforced?

I hope that means that even if they find a way to abuse, if Feerik finds out they will ban them.

Are you going to punish the players that abuse the rules before this update?
