Hey everyone! Recently I have been working on a pirate deck concentrating around using a combination of [card]Powder Keg[/card] and several guns such as [card]Narwhal[/card] and [card]Infernal Cricket[/card] to inflict maximum damage upon the opposing team.
Here is a deck idea I have decided to build upon and Please feel free to comment what could make this better or what you think of it personally

I wouldnt bother with IcaRusty with such a deck

Replace him with Gemineye or Widow

Youre also kinda of tight on chains

add 3 Conquer or Perish or Stinkbomb
Drop a Dismember and the Multitasking

The only Craftsman item you have is Powder Kegs which should probably only be used with scuttling

I used a similar deck a long time ago, but with nut and ica (souchi wasnt out yet)

the main idea of ica is for his ability to make mechanist able to chain item (hence double narwhal or etc), while clover is only for scuttling (and then she can die in peace), kinda fancy IMO

i'd drop the Multitasking as well since it's use is quite limited (might as well play The Watcher and just recycle Scuttling, for it's effect is better). maybe [card]Share the Loot[/card] would play out better for constant double Nawhal useage?

but i like the general idea of the deck^^

Thanks everyone so far so your imput as it has helped me extensively on how to edit the deck. I thought multitasking would work with the guns but if thats not the case I should drop [card]Souchi[/card] and replace her with [card]Azalys the Five Time Widow[/card] for more offensive narwhal shots or [card]Gemineye[/card] and have use to [card]Dreamlike Encounter[/card].
so the deck edited so far looks like this.

Either 1-[card]Time Bomb[/card] to utilize Ica-Rusty's Ability and being able to play it just by discarding it from your hand and tagging it onto someone randomly for a good 8 damage with Keg or if i would use [card]Gemineye[/card] i would have access to [card]Dreamlike Encounter[/card]. As always please tell me what you guys think.

Since you have multitask consider going full powder pirates.

Killicrew, Clover and Souchi

Multitask+Pistolblade
Rocketor
Flame of the Phoenix

There are so many ways to play this.

You don't need 3 scuttling with Clover on the field. Though since you deck is based around it I'd use Meister Galene instead. Trust me, you'll do plenty of damage and not have to worry too much about the kegs sticking.

Now that you stated that. I like [card]Meister Galene[/card] due to his high starting defense and supports Ica-Rusty, But would cycling [card]Scuttling[/card] be effective in terms of damage?

You would trigger Powder kegs FAR too often to use Galene

It has to be Clover

Meister Galene also raises attack and spirit on Ica and heals for 4. I'd get rid of the Dismemberments since they only sorta fit the theme. With Meister you might want to throw in one Multitasking for doubling up a keg on a critical target and maybe having a Master Craftsman(which is ridiculous with scuttling since you'll have a min +4 attack) so he's not just there to pull Kegs out of the trash, but actually do some DPS.

I've played around with this type of deck a bunch and yes, doing big damage by multiexploding kegs is fun, but to win is unnecessary.

given your usage of powder kegs, i'd highly recommend souchi for both 1-turn kills and more usage on the kegs

but how about meister? He's a warrior and hence couldn't use any of the narwhals or infernal crickets

Meister would be used to support Ica-Rusty and attaches the kegs and also implements from Master Craftsman and multitask. but sadly he cannot use the guns
