when i first saw the 2 dragons i wasnt that sure whether they will be a viable addition/alternative... question now for me would be:
are they actually worth the stress to get them? shall i put my alarm clock every night now or not?
now after some games i came along the big dragon with my zil priests deck.
of course the dragon is bugged. a thing we all could somehow expect since few new cards are released without bugs.
now most ppl would argue that i simply played discard style against him but i really didnt... actually i was interested in measuring the new beast and delayed the fight as much as possible.
first impression: first round he starts with 5 magic damage against all chars instead of his normal attack ---> weak against highspirited chars but effective against most warriors/marauders
every even round he attacks an unchanged attack... i was lucky to have an early exordium and penance so i could indirectly improve my def while having my zil theurgy cure cards on all chars.
he was playing the 2 daggers and due to his high attack and 4 def he was curing 4 hp every other turn thus becoming hard to kill if u lack damage output
but overall i expected more. i will see how future fights will run but i m quite sure already that i wont aim for this big dragon.
here is the screenshot of my fight:

i d like to see and read what you think about the usefullness of both, the big and tiny dragon. are they too strong, too weak, balanced? which decks did u use against them and was it hard to win or just a matter of time as it was for me?

Nah.... I'm not bothered with the dragons. The big boss version is banned from tournaments and prone to discard. The small dragon cannot modify its own stats (what good is a marauder that can't use Assassination?). He is also prone to spells and mage hybrid decks (Witchblade or Demon Hunter anyone?).
On paper they look good. But my personal opinion is that they are more for collectors.
All in all, I'm not too bothered to complete the event. Prefer the Stone King Event. At least I have a mercenaries Mage/Hybrid deck out of it ![]()

You can only get the baby dragon without buying
I personally think the 3 character Dragon would be fun to have, but the other guy seems a bit weak

I find the boss dragon really interesting but I have to try him out before deciding if he is good or not. What I like most is that it offers a lot of unusual strategies.
The little dragon can cause some trouble to some builds but if he proves to be a good card it will just be banned from ELO just like Scragh so I am not really keen on paying 50 Euros to have it.

but has anybody already played against him? some ppl out there invested the cash to get the dragon(s) and i m interested in how those ppl feel about the new beast(s) plus i d like to know if u dont have him but already played against him if it was something u think was balanced or totally op or what?
i d like to have some first hand info

i have both of the dragons, that big one needs a real special deck cause you cant boost yourself so have to manipulate the enemy...

I have played 2 games against it and both times I have lost because of theft.
First time I had an pirate powder deck (captain 4, croc 1, galene 1). I was unlucky as I could not land a +12 fiery sword attack with my mage and then lost due to theft.
Second time I had a crystal storm vanish deck and lost by deck out because my high damage spells (3) got discarded.
In conclusion the boss does not seem overpowered. Sure it can KO some of your characters fast, but the damage required to beat him 45 physical / 39 magic is not that much...
a good noz deck can deal 40 magic damage over 3 turns without any trouble.

well that 5 magic damage and early [card]collision[/card] can kill any marauder/warrior deck in 3 turn so we can call the big boss OP against marauders..maybe he not that good against mages or maybe weak but less people play mage decks than warrior/marauder so with the right cards just like at the video he is realy strong..i hope i dont find myself against him cause he can kill my sniper deck very easy

Use the scrolls that set both fighters stats to something. Dragon can't get debuffed. Win.
Cheap (curse of your choice) did that last game.
Adventure mode - made to have players try new decks. But Bosses are unbeatable.

Scrolls aren't enough...sure, being able to set mages spirit to 2 or reducing defs is useful but it's not adaptive enough. You have to have a deck that will account for the majority of decks you meet. There are certain cards that are a must, and this deck is very specific in what it needs...it's also not too cheap. Sure, getting the card is do-able...but building a deck for it takes thought AND crystals.
Some people will have bought 5-6 12 card booster and done some quests to get the card, only to leave themselves short when it comes to deck. It's happened before...the need to have the card outweighs the knowledge to use it effectively.

Actually, I've made quite an effective deck with him. Rips through every level on the Ritual quest other than Inferno. But it is true that some of the cards I use are event cards...With Evil Intentions is actually great with him if you use his action copying ability to put two on yourself, debuffing the opponent by two in every stat and healing him 2 each round. But other cards are cheaper...Wanted is actually a phenomenal card to use with him. Obesity is as well, as his defense isn't lowered by it!

I've run into these dragons and all i can do is laugh. My opponents are spamming attack boosting cards like it is there last chance....and they do nothing..I can imagine the look of utter disbelief on their faces as they realize they werent worth the hassle. LOL!

The noobs will wake up eventually...
anyway now that I have the boss dragon I can easily say it is huge. Sure there are some decks that can beat him but the amount of decks he totally destroys ensuring a perfect is impressive.
so far I have 7 wins (6 perfects 1 timeout)
100% worth getting.
