Destiny Foil

I still have it from the advent calendar and I've been wondering. If I make a card foil with it would the card still be exchangeable?

Yup, you can still sell it.  The only way it wouldn't be tradable is if you used it on something that you already couldn't sell.

reason i ask is that it is rare and by upgrading it it changes into a new card

ah, I've asked before and I think the upgraded card takes the trait of the rare card... so in this case even if katana gets upgraded i dont think it'll be sellable.. though you could still try.

A non exchangeable rare card stays always non exchangeable.

The rule is against rarity, if you merge an exchangeable rare with others cards non exchangeable uncommon or common, the result is exchangeable.
If the rarity is the same, the result is non exchangeable.
