Any ideas on some good Avalonian Decks? I havne't really seen any and I was wondering if there were any good Avalonian Decks and if so, what they would be.

Many people build around Trial on the Bridge for an end turn KO and/or heavy damage. Haven't seen too many built around Avalonian Swords, due to prices, but I see plenty of potential in those decks.

Most times I see an Avalonian is the Queen in Craft Decks with Ramen and Jorus.

Okay. Trial on the bridge does sound like a good idea. Have you seen any of Johan + the King and Queen?

You can make a decent build with the 3 avalonians.

If you manage to stack enough sheilds and cups of life you will probably win the game but the extremely low initial damage and the increase in the number of cards that drastically reduce defence are the reason avalonians are not very popular anymore.
Trial on the bridge is a great card but if one of your characters gets one shot (which can happen quite easily if you take an offensive approach) you're in trouble.

Another good tactic is to use cursed books on aelide - works best with craftsmen

Thanks that's a really big help. I'm gonna try getting a lot of avalonian shields and cups of life although there aren't many cups of life on sale. I'll look into cursed books. Are there any other good avalonian cards that are good and relatively cheap? OR should I just base the deck around trial on the bridge, avalonian shields, cups of life and swords?

Before I played my current Demon Hunter deck, I played an Avalonian deck. Consisted of the Avalon trio the typical cards of cups and shields with triumph and quests and a single Sacred Blade with Good Fortune support. But the twist I put into my deck was adding some Producer cards into the mix. The deck ran slow at times, but the addition with producers I can chain a Cup and "produce it" for pocket heals of +4. Or Produce a Sacred Blade after activated with Fullfill your Destiny quest the the carrier of the blade retains the +5 from quest and the next character gets the blade.

I played vs a Avalonian deck, he was using King, Queen and Johan armor based deck while I was using a Kotoba Armor based deck (Xin and Asajiro), the battle took about 20 turns since we were only doing 1-2 damage to each other per turn

as far as i remember the level of the dead avalonian is also taken into the calculation for trial of bridge... so for the trial card you aren't as much in trouble as you may think but on the other hand... someone that can one shot an avalonian is prolly strong enough to finish the fight quite soon against the remaining 2 chars

For some reason I can't find Avalonian Shield in the marketplace but I'm pretty sure it's being sold... Any ideas as to why?

Avalonian shield is not searchable using Avalonian caste search. Just fyi.

This can't be right, a few weeks ago, (after the release of the new comers) there was more then 400 shields for sale...

And I only have one. There were two for sale the other day and I used one to level up Johan and the other for my deck. There also haven't been any Cups of Life for sale for the past week or two. I can't level up Aelide....

My deck list might help you a little.

It surprisingly wins more than its fair share of games (80% so far), but not ELO competitive I think.

Not the cheapest to put together either...

Aez (king)

Avalonian shield x3
Danger in Delay (more cycle/heals)
Fulfill your Destiny
Good fortune x2
Once upon a time (usually I use The best defense instead, but it is currently in my dragon knight deck)
Avalonian blade x2
Sword of the 5 elders (for Aez)
Trial on the bridge
Cup of life x3
Triumph x3
Watcher (recycle trial)
With evil intentions (use cursed book if you don't have one)

Basically, make Aelide difficult to kill and Johan as a beatstick. Generally, the longer you draw the game out, the more likely you will win. Triumph and Aelide's order is key for leveling up to use triumphs/swords and kill cards.

Resilient against discard from its recirculation (danger in delay, good fortune and triumph). Common meta dissidence/litmus test doesn't affect the deck either... Good fortune can also be used to disrupt alot of your opponent's strategies.

Main weakness is magic due to the weak spirit of Aez and Johan. Defense negation (e.g. stink bomb) is a problem too, especially against high offense builds. Witchblades/crystal storm for example is a difficult matchup.

A cheaper alternative is to build a slower deck around 'wall of shields'. You can get some absurd defense from this and slowly level up and wear your opponent down with triumphs. The best defense is pretty good in this deck too...
