I've tried:

[card]Eglantyne the Witchblade[/card](exchangeable & non-foil) + [card]Moira the Witchblade[/card](not exchangeable & foil) = [card]Eglantyne and Moira[/card] (not exchangeable & foil)

[card]Fog Snake[/card](not exchangeable & non-foil) + [card]Fog Snake[/card](exchangeable & non-foil) + [card]Fog Hydra[/card] (upgrade 1)(exchangeable & non foil) = Fog Hydra (upgrade 2)(exchangeable & non foil)

What if I try:

[card]Blast![/card](not exchangeable & foil) + [card]Blast![/card](exchangeable & non-foil) + [card]Katana[/card](exchangeable & non foil) = [card]The Emperor's Speech[/card] (????? & foil)


I'm certain that the Emperor's Speech would come out foil... but would it be exchangeable? since the foil effect comes from a non exchangeable card... would the emperor's speech as well be non exchangeable? or would it still be exchangeable like the case I did with fog hydra?

every card gets foil if you merge it with a foil card.

the (non)-exchangeable of a card has nothing to do with foil or not foil.
only if you merge a not exchangeable card with a rare exchangeable card it will be exchangeable.

so the emperor should be exchangeable

foil card foils the card u use it on... doesnt matter whether there is an upgrade or no... go to your collection, then check for the card u want to foil, go to the exp stat screen, pull the foil card over the card of ure choice... voilà

So you can actually make any card foiled?! That's pretty awesome, but surely that's saturate the market and bring their prices down?

You need to have a foil card, and they are pretty not distributed in the booster nor in the store.
Only special event shows some of them.
Not a big deal for the market wink

Thats what I did with my foil card from last year.  Foil StoneEater looks beautiful next to foil Eternal and foil Yilith too

Hi, I have a question.

I kept the foil card from last year's event and I was wondering if I can foil up my ecstasy and sell it for the 'foiled' up price to the refund event.

Or alternatively is the foiled copy be able to be re-selled to the market?

I'd appreciate a response to this as well if anyone knows for certain.  I hate foiled cards and this would be a great way to make some cash out of the "foil" cards I have that will never be used.
