If you beat him and you clicked too fast you may still have received rewards; Unless the reward screen never popped up in the first place.
Don't go into the jungle dressed like a banana if you don't like monkeys!

I agree with him. I really don't see how you could click next so fast because of the different spots the prompt it, but whatever.
Anyways, even if you skipped the page where it shows what you won, it should have given you the cards. Just check your inventory and see if there's anything new there.
If not... Should have taken a screenshot. Seems no one likes to do that when they report a bug, now-a-days.

It happened to me too after beating Ursend...
The reward screen didn't pop out and it is so hard beating him

Sooo Im starting to think that feerik alt the boss rewards without mentioning it. (though still in beta could happen but without a notice?) Fought the kotoba boss twice and only recieved a single card, normally 2-3. And got nothing at all from Sap Heart. Just a bit confused on why.

They try to tune the system to keep attractive rewards but avoid to kill common and uncommon cards on market.
The system is still in beta test, there will be other changes in the future.

No "raging or anything" it is understood that it is beta. Just a notification with the patch instead of people 2nd guessing it.

Zurga can you please ask them to reduced the cost for boss battel to 20 ?
This way you don t have to wait and can do your 3 fights.

the last 3 times i beat kotoba boss all i got was 1 eredan favor each seems like this will really discourage the player to buy energy if your not getting anything

Most people I believe if not already are just gonna beat the bosses once or twice for the unique rewards find out they arent even going to get much of a reward for efforts and just spend the energy to level the low characters outside of the training room just so they can get the +70 crystals they can get from the 5-8 energy quests. Its just as good to farm the quests for the crystals then get then 100 market card common reward cards most get from the boss fights.
If the bosses were either cost 20 energy after you beat first time, guaranteed favor card, 1/3 chance for one card (not the possible reward but from card data base all together) from the respectable guild the questline falls under. Or at least make the current ones sellable back into the system but not the market, at reduced cost. This would elminate the 5 card mulitiples in some collections that take away from market pricing. Would be able to sell out of collection but leave option to go to market place to reobtain if later interested.
Ideas are little scattered, feedback is welcome.

Not a bug, eh? Could've sworn it was a big fat bug getting absolutely nothing from beating the boss. Though I don't really mind that at all for my own sake. I'm able to farm at least one of the bosses and I get my cards. It's fun watching the devs figure it out really!
But...
Just imagine - Lil' Jerome has worked all week selling off the cards he's gotten from his few first boosters. He's sold them all for scraps to be able to buy a second Demon May Rise so he finally has a shot against the Sap Heart Boss. Then he gets a bad hand, and has a tough, but damn fun fight against the boss. In the end he is victorious with only one character with 3 in live left.
And then he gets absolutely nothing for it. Nil. Zip. Nought, love, null, zero.
Nothing.
Imagine that anticlimax!

Awww it sucks spending 23 energy each time to replay bosses and get squat from it.
At least you should add the chance of pulling Legendary cards if the odds are so drastically reduced...

As Zurga said, we are tuning the system to have players get good rewards without creating an insane amount of cards (which would be bad for the game). Once we get the drop system where we would want it to be, there's a chance our devs will look at things like energy costs.

Not that reduced, Really? On my last five perfect wins against the sap heart boss I've gotten one common card, one favor and nothing else. Gotta sacrifice a goat or a dog or something to get my luck back I guess.

Why not change the system totally and give the player for every boss kill and mission as reward "adventure points" and let him exchange this "points" for cards ?
This way it would be lesser random and not create a insane amount of cards.
And the player has a goal to obtain cards he wants and is lesser frustrated.
Not to mention this would help newcomer to come in the game if they can t kill one of the boss characters.
Even Feerik can control how many cards will generated.
You can have X Energy = X Adveture Points = X Cards of a type.
And would make the purchase from Energy more interesting.

That's a really good idea. To add even more incentive to buy energy, perhaps buying energy gives you 24 hours of extra adventure points earned. I can't imagine hardly anyone bought energy when they had the 30% off sale last weekend, especially since you don't gain access to the market when purchasing energy. So you could buy a 120 booster pack and get guaranteed cards plus market access or get a few extra boss battles in and possibly not earn a single card and no market access.

3 games in a row without any reward.
Still I do not mind having a lower drop rate as long as when I get something that it's actually a decent addition to my collection as opposed to getting ton of unsalable crappy character cards.
If I get the same ton of crappy cards with a lower drop rate it certainly won't be an appealing change and I'll probably stop playing the old adventures.
Also increasing the chances for the secondary card would be nice. I think I've beaten the sap boss at least 30-40 times before getting the Flail.
So you could buy a 120 booster pack and get guaranteed cards plus market access or get a few extra boss battles in and possibly not earn a single card and no market access.
