Two new campaigns and results of the End of the Year Tournaments

Two new campaigns and results of the End of the Year Tournaments

news_pve.jpg

Two new campaigns + new frequency for releases!

Many gamers travel all over Guem and search for adventures, glory and fortune! In order to satisfy them, the frequency of the releases will be modified!

There won't be 6 cards releases anymore. From now (and every two weeks), there will only be 20 cards releases. Between these releases new campaigns and new rewards in the Adventure mode will be available (then, every two weeks too). To summarize:
- This week (week 1): 2 new campaigns (Adventure mode).
- Next week (week 2): 20 cards release.
- The week after (week 3): new campaigns (Adventure mode).
- The week after (week 4): 20 cards release.
- etc.

From today you have access to 2 new campaigns:
- The values of Noz,
- The values of the Nomads.
and to associated rewards:

Sooooo...  That means no new cards this week, not including the Adventure Rewards?

I think this is an excellent change in schedule though I personally wish it was 10 card releases instead. Having too many new cards is just discouraging, and this almost doubles the amount of new cards being released... (IE - more bugs and potential balance issues)

I highly approve of regularly receiving new campaigns. Those are a lot of fun so far.

Nice update! Hope that somehow this update improves the marketplace. Because as the prices of new cards drop and week without any card releases, players would somehow buy Act Boosters & would not be tempted to buy that New Arrivals Booster! (=^.^=)

I like the direction this update is taking the game.
New adventures coming out with regularity is certainly a great feature. I'm guessing there was a huge activity increase if Feerik changed this so fast.

I hope the fewer releases will have a positive impact on the market.

Mayhaps.
Though it is fairly common in the business world to work in two week blocks...

I'm sure it bothers all the other speculators in the market.

Did anyone notice the lack of [card]Vital Syphon[/card] in the marketplace Tuesday night, then the surplus (although still high-priced) on Wednesday after the announcement?

Turnabout like that makes me smile sometimes.

20 cards sounds a bit ... too much.

"Of course they don't want that (adding more crystals to the game) to happen, because then the outrageous card prices would drop"

Definitely too much, that's 8 more cards in the same time frame than previous.
On the bright side, it does mean they can release new concepts "in bulk" rather than making people wait a long time...

I second this. I thought discard was an easy win...but I can't even play anathematize with the frequency needed to counter his recycle ability!

[card]Shifting sand[/card]
[card]Watcher[/card]
Use these on top of anathematize to constantly remove his discard, otherwise, if you're circus, you're playing as normal. His shuffle occurs at the end of the fight, knock off Chimera and Dragon's champion and remove them from the game quickly, then stall the hell out of him while removing his graveyard.

It's excellent practice against decks like mine, which never deck out.
