So you want every deck to be control? That's a boring meta. There's no normal Rocks-Paper-Scissors. If there's nothing but rocks... I think you see where I'm going. Not only that, but how slow do you expect to get when there's a 20 card deck, a clause where you lose when you don't have enough cards int he deck, and an average draw of 1.5?

Fought the eclipse marauders yet? They say F*** your defenses.

Unless you have defensive cards that instead raise your Defence, you take down there attack. Something like "Declare His Love". There many ways to increase your defense strategically.

Besides raising Defense is not that great anymore cause of cards like "Distracted", "Stink Bomb" and "Magic Attack".

yes that two are the frequently played decks.

@lordi: no, the hydra, slayer deck is better as far as i know.

I've tested them both two weeks ago. Craftsmen scragh couldn't get me beyond 1750, whereas scragh hydra slayer got me well beyond that. I'm pretty sure that build is better.

Edit: After seeing souchi being used in the place of slayer, I used that for a change. It actually works a lot better, considering one-shots are way more common with her. Also, her order bonus fits better with scragh's.

The Scragh decks are annoying, yes. Not invincible. I have yet to win against a discard deck, however. Of course, most of my competitive decks have mild stall, which is my undoing. It all depends on what deck versus what deck. And their is a random number generator involved in attacks, spells, and actions. That's what keeps the game fresh and avoids many pitfalls of 1 deck beats all mentality.

Like, for example. Scragh decks with the healing incentive via the life-stealing daggers are out of luck if it's an item discard/stall deck. Avalonians are really good at that. However, Avalonian decks might not cut it versus a Pirate Powder deck or craftsman/Powderkeg deck. In turn, those Pirate Decks could struggle against a well rounded Ice Elf deck, etc.

Yet even this point is moot. Decks are only as good as the player working with whatever hand he gets.

I'm playing a WB beatdown deck, doing nice in general, beating Scragh depends on not getting one hit by the other Marauders (generaly Souchi and Master Mistc Slayer), what I can do with Secret Weapon. And later on Armor + RoD, or Armor + TLA, or TTD + Secreat Weapon, if he spent all obesity on Scragh turn 4 or 5.

I'm suffering a little on Zil control and Courts, since I'm not running ANS or Clumsiness on it currently. But it all depends on who start, the cards and etc.
Find near impossible losing to Avalonians due to Sentence... Immortals depends, on draws and hits..

Try Neutralization. If you're using the new WB, Naya and Anzara, it does wonders against court and mill. Use it when you have abyssien cornered to tell him to go f*ck himself, and laugh at Doyen's order.
Also, Prestige can rob a circus/shadow guem, zil deck of it's packing power, granted it is kinda expensive, it does put a big hole in strategies that involve using multiples of the same non-permanent. (Target Treach,panic,black hand)

Helena's not bad. She's sort of viable with Witchblades to make a sort of Marauder/Mage Noz mid-range deck.

Think about it. Her with Naya and Elgantye and Moria makes her a 6/14. And lets say in a perfect world, you get initiative and pit her against another maruader. She turns into a hefty 9/17. Buff her, play an Infiltration, and if you deal more damage than your opponent, congrats, you did a really good job at gaining tempo.

I'm trying to build a Sol'Ra avatar deck with Ish and Doyen, standart style, but my filler cards are a problem, any suggestions?

So far I have

3 luminosity
3 harshness
3 diplomatic error
2 solra anger
3 ice wall
3 potion of seduction
2 sun armor
1 breaker

Main problem is if i don't get harsness when they pick Sol'ra
I think it needs more offensive but can't figure what to take out

i think he has 2 angers cuz that is a card he really needs to draw change 3 luminositys for 3 drownings so you can snipe alot of the time i was playing the deck i wasnt playing many spells cuz if you play a spell and diplomatic error you cant attack. solra really got hurt when they messed his attack and ability up

Correct, I have 2 Angers 'cause I need to buff his attack ASAP.
No crystals for drowning ATM, (dunno the current price, didn't see any in the market)
Any other suggestions?
And if i get offensive spells I won't be able to attack with Diplomatic error... tho 1 or 2 drownings would be great for sniping, not sure about RoDs, I think the deck lacks something key and can't figure what
