Foam Giant and Narwhal

How can [card]Foam Giant[/card] play [card]Narwhal[/card] when Narwhal is guild restricted to pirates? Am i missing something or is this bug/abuse?

I won in the end, even though foam giant had 2 narwhals

As I recall, golems can use any item as they please disregard of guild or class.

It's what good about foam giant and him being a golem.

Chaining every item plus any item at all in the world. Expect any powerful items played by foamy in a match.
