Not sure what the first effect of the card does.
Says each time your character receives damage, +1 to damage dealt...
so 2 things I don't get, first off, it's not a permanent card...so how do you get the bonus? only from a magic attack that was made after this card activates...?
second, damage dealt to who? Do you do more damage or does the opponent...not clear. As far as I can tell, the card might as well jut say defence +2 chain warrior exclusive, because really how often is that going to happen where the enemy did damage to you after this card actives but before you attack. I guess it's not a bad secondary effect, but still not permanent means it's only +1 one time, and why would it say "each" time if it wasn't permanent

It add 1+ damage that your character delt in anything he plays.
Since it's not permanent, you usually cast it when it's your opponent turn, so he will hit before you. So you add 1+ damage, i'ts not much, but if your opponent is a mage, and cast 2 spell you add 2, or if he's an elfine or a multiclass mage.
It's usefull with Elfines, since it wll add damage in your second hit aswell. So for example ydyane, who was fighting another yidiane who play this card, while the adversarie play a living nature, would do like +3 damage in both attacks.

What I'm concerned about is that there's no way to verify the bonus. You wouldn't get +2 from going after a Mage casts a spell, you would have to go first. Not the mage

Yes, I should have placed the mages in a diferent paragraph, not when talking about your opponent hitting you first, since they wont do phisical damage.
