Say it, because you can, despite it not making sense in the story.

Hey hey hey...What about Archmage Anreya and Prophet on the same line up?
-They're two different characters that function in two different ways, and aside from being Diplomats of Councilor status, you can't really know how they may have interacted. All of the Courtesans are members of the council, no?
They're both Legendary cards, so people who are fortunate (wallet or luck wise) To have both, aren't very frequent.
The new councilor is crap compared to Ish imo (the sap and pirate stuff wasn't really great)
The two can't be used with Mylad (Ish has no common among them)
Psalm is fun toasters to make a stack attack deck.
Dandy...well...It's Dandy...
And the other courtesans play the same part they did in their older decks.
Edit:
From what I see, Doyen can be used to suppliment a court deck that wants to get off of mainstream strategies, especially because he gets a free chain 1-4, otherwise, his stats are pretty dull for a legendary mage.
Edit 2:
Doyen and Ish makes about as much sense as Doyen and Angelica. WOOT! LEMME BRING MY PREDECESSORS MURDERER ALONG ![]()

Mercenaries and trophies are underrated.

Well I was thinking when someone from the game told me about the prophets, there cant be 2 in the same deck, cause there is only Prophet at a time, only one supposed to be alive... Now Ishaia is dead, and she was replaced. I know there are more councilors ( I don't know much about the story because i cant read french)
But the fact that Doyen came gives all the feeling that he is here to replace her in her position, in the story of the game, now that she is dead (
) and if we have both of them we should be obligated to chose one per deck, not both of them, ice walls or super efficient Manipulation. It cant be fair to have them both if i cant have both prophets in game, and I think there is a possibility in changing these, cause you have done it with some cards (And Im talking to not allow them both, not to allow the 2 prophets... ) All what i wanted to say...

Not so sure but i think it was Hate who killed Ishaia, taking the appearance of Angelica

Emm you can make a deck with both Ishaia and the new councilor. The result a extremely powerful deck 'cause you have 2 characters with 4 guilds in game! the new guy's chain ability allows you to use Overwhelmig victory x2 in the same rouind! however this deck it's really anoying when using Manipulation

2 chars that are most likely dead in their first turns can't really be considered extremely powerful.
