Tournament of Death

It's the weekend come and participate in The Joust of Death ! Meet in the Tournament room!

Dates :

Friday November 4, 2011 15H00 (French Time) to Monday November 7, 2011 at noon (French Time).

Restrictions :

The sum of the levels of your characters cannot be above level 5.
Also, you must play 20 different card from your Deck.

The following cards are banned :
- Foam Giant
- Port

Registration Fees :

To participate in this tournament, the entry fee is 200 Fee'z.

Rewards :
The players who rank in the top third will receive the "New Arrival" booster.  The ranking is based on specifically Elo.

And for the winners:
- 1st : 10 Fee'z for each person registered for this tournament.
- 2nd : 7 Fee'z for each person registered for this tournament
- 3rd :  5 Fee'z for each person registered for this tournament.
- 4th to 8th : 4  Fee'z for each person registered for this tournament.
- 9th to 16th : 3  Fee'z for each person registered for this tournament.

Dissidence trophy is now in store!

The players who did not complete the trophy: Dissidence, can now access it at the Eredan iTCG store.

Cumulate 60 Points.  Win 1 Point for every fight in which you dealt damage to the opposing character and he is not dead at the end of the fight. (You cannot accumulate more than 9 Points per game and you must play against different players). You will earn the Dissidence card and the title: The Quarrel

Dissidence : Action. Collector. The opposing character copies your character's Guilds instead of his own. This card is attached to the opposing character. 
Duration 3 Turns.

Great idea guys, we need ways to MAKE a few feez out of the game too! Only thing is that i would lower the fee to 100 feez instead to make it a bit more accessible for those who can't buy them feez right now and have to grind for free feez.

I cant seem to enter the tourney with the deck I made...and as for Dissidence its been in the store for weeks lol

The banned card list could have been longer though.

Cool idea, I suggest tourneys like this in a topic after they set the tax back to 10%. I'm gona try it. Alredy got a strategy, but from what I see there can be so many kind's of strategy..

I'm apparently horrible at this game I've lost every match so far lol

Annnnd now that my ELO is so low....I can get matched up with anyone to try and improve it....FML.....1 hour almost now....sitting in the waiting room with no matches

This was the best tourney this far, it was really fun to play, and had really nice prizes. I finished in the 16 postion, could have ended in 14th but got greedy and had to spend 2 hours getting close to the same elo I had. And it was a close one..

They should make this form of highlander a regular tournament so people (like me) can play in it without paying feez.  This was a really neat idea and I really wish I could have played in it.

Yes, they could make the hour ones with diferent restriction each time, would make   it much more fun to play. I have suggested a couple of examples in the discussion part of the forum...

The tourney was very tough and I've encountered a lot of different decks so in my eyes it was a success.

I can say i've enjoyed the Autumn event more thought mostly because in the death joust event it was very expensive to change decks since the good level 1 cards spiked in price quite a lot.

i love the idea of limiting the sum of the characters in battle.
maybe the devs can integrate that with the ELO tournaments.

its also better if they could limit the amount of legendaries in a deck, 2 or 3(including characters) would be an ideal amount.

since one of the main problems with this game is the lack of competitive deck building, this beta tourney is a good move done by the developers.

Well, that legendaries cards weren't even used in the Tourney... The only one some people still used was void.

I saw not even one Lady Yilith deck or Ishaia.. No one used Prestige.

I spent 46k on this tourney, 11 on a Shui-khan and 36 in a favor of the dawn, but it's cards I can re-sell, and the prize was worthy it.

I really hope they could do some tourneys like this one but cristal based ones, so we have evenr bigger player pool and see more ideas and strategies.

Also would be a fun idea a Guild vs Guild match, where people take a side and only fight aganst the other guild, and total cristals raised is shared among all players of the winning guild..
