The Pack was the first Caste I ever focused on. With the current meta, I felt that The Pack suffered in tournament play because of a propensity for Mages. With Fenrath around, I haven’t really worried about discard, since the Pack tends to overdo the damage they deal on their own. As we’ve seen in the last few Amnezy tournies, my fears seem to be unsubstantiated…so…
Back to the Pack…
Fenrath is the staple card for me. Now with Wild, there may be potential for a full Marauder version of the deck, but the bonus Fenrath gives just seems too good. We then have the other characters:
Faceless
Bloodsword
Dark
Wild
With Lunation, I think Wild becomes your second character fairly handidly…that leaves that third slot, which I have preferred Bloodsword boosting the attack of the other two warriors. To offset mage decks, is it worth it to switch to Dark? I’ve not thought of Faceless being worth it without Bloodsword….
So we have Fenrath/Wild/Bloodsword
Now for staple cards, I’ve been looking at the following cards as being staple:
3 Bestial
3 Lunation
3 Fly off the Handle
Dark Stone Heart
2 Dances with Volk
Does everyone agree with that framework for a solid base for the deck? Now I normally go with the “All is Fair in Love…” and “…and War” combo, since the characters’ minimum attack gets bumped. But, is that overkill? Do I need to look at more meta in these slots? We’ve got 8 card slots left if we all agree to the base for the deck…these are other cards I’ve either tried or considered at one point or another:
All is Fair in Love…
…And War
Oh, I’m Good!
To the Rescue!
Camp
Journey
Storm
Magic Shield
Blood Ties
I haven’t gotten Offensive or Capturing the Enemy yet. They seem to be valid options also.
I’ve seen people try Dirty Trick with Taming the Beast, but that seems too slow to protect vs. spells, but is it worth it for overall strategy? Heads or Tails, and Backstab seem poor, and I haven’t tried Menagerie or The Howls.
Thoughts?

I feel the speed of Dirty Trick/Taming the Beast is on par with All if fair in Love.../... And War. They're both poor combos, I feel.
Dissidence is a card worth putting in. I haven't played with it, but I played against it. It hurts...... a lot.
I might even 3-up on the Dances With Volk. When I played The Pack, they were always useful. In essence, it revives your character.
Blood Ties could be worth it. Maybe. I'm not too sure. My only problem is it doesn't chain. it has good synergy with Fenrath's HP bonus thingy, though.
As for the other cards suggested, I'm sure Camp, To the Rescue, and Storm would fit in well, simply because they fit into every deck.

Here's a question:
Dark Stone Heart or Nehantic Stone?
Another question:
How much anti-spell is really needed? Am I trying to overcompensate for Fenrath's vulnerability with 0 Spirit?
Hors ligne
I prefer the nehantic but both have their merits
Dark Stone Heart
Pros
played once
protects the character from magic indefinatly including aoes
Cons
can be hit with item removal
the opponent knows what to expect so won't be using magic damage anymore and may be able to adjust his tactics with cards like than the sword.
Nehantic Stone
Pros
can potentially protect multiple characters.
makes the opponent think twice about dropin those rain of deaths or living natures.
Cons
playing it repeatedly really hurts your offensive.
won't protect the out of combat character (generally fenrath) from aoe or from cards like magic poison or black hand. (i think that depends on the order they are played)

This conversation sounds familiar ^
Funny that this is being talked about, just was talking about it last night
But yeah Dark Stone vs Nethanic Stone is a tough decision, been using dark stone in order to protect fenrath better and stay offensive...BUT might switch over
