Take in Stride

It states Attack +2.  Additional Attack +3 if your character does magic damage.  Would this work as a total bonus of +5 if my character uses Rocketor to cause magic damage prior to this card activating?  How about my witchblade activating prior to Take in Stride?

oh i think it is a mistake, in the german translation you get +3 attack when the opponent deals magic damge to you.
i search for the card in french..

yes, as far as i know, it means "when your character "suffers" damage.."

Yes, we also reached this conclusion in the Brazilian forum, we had to test the card than check the french version..

Fail of me to consider someone would warn here...
