So, I started making a Crow deck a while ago. But, since I didn't have [card]Implore the Ancients[/card], I never had more than [card]Gan'so[/card] as an Undead character for [card]Mysterious Aura[/card] and [card]Yu Ling[/card]. Having played Magic for a long time, I like getting as much value out of a card as I can. So, I looked at what other undead characters there were. [card]Amhid[/card].... Can't use with Kotoba. Same for [card]Arkalon[/card] and [card]Jon the Filibuster[/card]. Wait..... Who's that last one?

[card]Zatochi Kage[/card]..... But he's not a Crow, he's a Demon Hunter..... Like Yu Ling..... Wait! I got it!

2 x [card]Disagreement[/card]
Good combo with Tsume.... That's about it.

2 x [card]Integrity[/card]
Sort of good combo with Tsume. Only if they're a non-human. Same goes for Katamaru. Generally it's a good combo with Onijutsu, though.

2 x [card]Karajutsu[/card]
An extra attack or two for Yu Ling and Gan'so. Poor Zatochi Kage is jealous.

3 x [card]Mysterious Aura[/card]
When Yu Ling plays it, it's value goes through the roof. Everyone gains 2 health from it, then she gains 3 at the end of the turn if all of your characters are alive, 5 if the opposing character is a Guemelite. Plus you can chain No Mask with it to get the +2 Attack.

2 x [card]Origami[/card]
Good little boost for Katamaru or Onijutsu. Plus it's just a generally good Attack +1 card any Kotoba can use. And it recycles itself, which is always good.

1 x [card]Randori[/card]
I had trouble finding another card to throw in. At first I put in [card]The Emperor's Speech[/card], but it was too slow, and the only character who could chain it naturally would be better off with a Tsume.

Do I really need to say why this is good?

2 x [card]No Mask[/card]
Good for increasing human spirit for OniJutsu and Katamaru...... Or for decreasing non-human spirit, in turn lowering their defense against Tsume.

Spells

2 x [card]Onijutsu[/card]
It's really good against non-Humans, and slightly less than stellar against Humans.

2 x [card]Katamaru[/card]
Seemed like a great card in a Spirit oriented deck. Yu Ling and Zatochi Kage can get big Spirits sometimes, and can be really handy for taking out big defenses like [card]Councilor Ishaia[/card] with some [card]Ice Barrier[/card]s on her.

Overall I like how this deck does. Every now and then you get a little shafted with hands that are either Demon Hunter heavy or Crow heavy, and they conveniently chose the character who can't play them. But sometimes you get really amazing card interaction and win out of nowhere. I've one-shotted an Archmage Anryena with Zatochi Kage using an Integrity and a Katamaru.

So, this can be fun. I want to see what you guys think about it, since I don't really post decks very often.

I was contemplating this kind of build too, but need too many cards at this time...but I like the concept...having played the other multiple caste characters for kotoba, you can get some very nice synergies between the 3 characters and associated cards, but it takes a lot of playtesting to get the recipe just right...

It's a solid build.

A good fill in with any deck is [card]Storm[/card], especially because Yu Ling heals each of her fights, and the other two can gain that little chip from Mysterious aura. You could also try [card]The Monster[/card] if you have it.

Instead of Disagreement, try Favor of The dawn, It'll lower your chances of being heavy toward the crow side.

Kusanagi is bestial when equipped to Zatochi, and in odd situations, Gan'so or Yu Ling can use it.

Also, I find [card]Sharpening Blades[/card] better than Karajutsu when your character's have a weapon, for the sheer fact that it's bonus can't be removed.

I sadly don't have storm. I spend my Feez on packs when I get them.

Every time I use Favor of the Dawn..... it never works out. Either I'm a bad player or everyone thinks that card is better than it is.

I'll try the Kusanagi, but I'm a little oppose to things that don't equip automatically.

Karajutsu's interaction with Mysterious Aura is more useful than Sharpening Blades' 'Until the end of the game' effect.
