Wanted: An Explaination of how Wanted! works.

So out of curiousity I've been playing around with this card, it's sounds nice and effective especially for those who depend on spirit... except that nothing seems to happen.

For instance, I just did this:
Turn 1(opp defense):
Opp Character X plays 2 cards. 1 card attaches to Character X.
Turn 2(opp attack):
Opp Character Y plays 2 cards.
I play Wanted! and another card.  Attached Wanted! to Character X.
...
Turn 6:
Character X plays two cards.  Wanted! reduces his spirit and defense by ZERO.

Now the possibilities for how this card works are as follows...
A) Counts Y's played cards and uses that.  Thus is 2.
B) Counts X's played cards last turn and uses that.  Thus is 2.
C) Counts Y's played and activated cards and uses that.  Thus is 1 and near pointless to have chain cause it would only work on defense and would be near pointless on offense since it would be max 1.
D) Counts X's actiated cards this turn.  Well he has one attached from last turn so that is 1.
E) Counts X's played and activated cards for this turn.  X can't play cards on a battle he is not in so it's ZERO and attaching to other characters is pointless.

So... how does this work?

Re : Wanted: An Explaination of how Wanted! works.

Wanted works on the beginning of combat.
It counts the number of cards activated by the character after the card is attached to him.

In your example, you attached the card after the two cards of your opponent are activated (the card is third on the line of your opponent).
Turn 6 at the beginning of combat, no cards have been activated.
Nothing happens.
If you had another combat with this character, you will have the lowering of spirit and defence.

So whats the point of being able to put in on other characters?  They won't have any cards on them activating because it's not their turn.

it also makes it useless if you know that a mage is going cast 2 spells next turn and wanted is not going to affect the spirit at all.

"yay you killed me turn 2 just wait till turn 5 and try that again....."

wanted even states the turn it is "attached", not the turn after activated. the turn its attached 2 cards were played and even the turn it was activated 2 cards were played...
it would still be fine if turn 2 a charter with wanted  gets a negative for the spells he casts that turn. in fact that would be better. incentive not to cast that turn and a punishment for casting knowing that its there.

If at first, the idea is not absurd, then there is no hope for it.
