Deirf Shield + BloodSword Def. Bonus

i am playing a deck with bloodsword that increases the marauder's defence, but when i equip the deirf shild to anybody with the bonus it does noit add up correctly. If lets say original defence is 3, and you add blood sword's bonus +1= 4 total defense. Now i play Velocity with Deirf Shiled, but the defense only goes up to =5, but it should be at 6

Do you have the [card]Deirf Geiss's Double Blade[/card] attacted also? If not, you only get defense +2.

Don't go into the jungle dressed like a banana if you don't like monkeys!

thats the fault,
bloodsword is not effected by her own bonus, "other marodeurs" only.
means all correct
