Why is that "CRYSTAL STORM" still DAMAGES my CHARACTERS (Beak and Mylad) even they have overwhelmed the opposing character with only 1 SPIRIT?

Opposing Characters: Alishk(Fire) - The Phytia - Archmage Anreyna

Mine: Lightning Beak - Adranis - Mylad

Mylad with Artezil's Ring will make her Spirit into 6 Spirit and with Philosophical debate attached those opponents are less 1 Spi. While L. Beak copies Mylad's SPIRIT..

The Phytia has the "CRYSTAL STORM" with 1 SPIRIT only...

my question above.

Read carefully [card]Crystal Storm[/card]:
This cards deals X+2 magical damages to each character where X is the character's spirit.
This card deals 2 damages regardless to your spirit (X+2 -X = 2).

No bug here.

If Crystal Storm, deals MAGIC DAMAGE (not Direct damage, since Direct damage can't be defended by any means in characteristics of a character), it can be defended by higher SPIRIT VALUE than the character with "CRYSTAL STORM"...

is this right? ^_^

MAGIC DAMAGE decreases by the SPIRIT VALUE of a CHARACTER..

well crystal storm does direct dmg regardless of spirit but its always 2 which is odd also the wording of the card is odd

Yes, but the spirit involved in the attack and in the defence is taken on the same character

Pithya spirit is not involved in the process.

It is not direct damages in regards that perversion is able to minimize the damages or Furagu special skill gives a HP boost when crystal storm is in play.

This is the only wording allowing to deals always 2 magical damages.

But, X is the spirit of the victim not the spirit of the caster.

Think of it this way. X is your spirit. You have 3 spirit, and Crystal Storm deals that, +2 to you. 3+2=5. So it deals 5 magic damage. But you have 3 Spirit, so subtract 3 from the total damage. 5-3=2

Problem solved. it always deals 2 more damage than your own character's spirit, not their character's spirit.

Not always 2, [card]Sylphide[/card] is the only one card who can add damage ton AoE spells.
With this card, Crystal storm do 3 damage each turn to all ennemies.
