World Tree Deck Questions and suggestions

Hi, Have anyone actually post a thread on the new world tree deck?
I think the new cards are awesome and i still wonder does eikytan need anything to level up?

Also, with the new cards such as flowering, whisper and unexpected meeting, you dont actually need any spirit, so do you think i need a mage keizan or a warrior keizan?

Looking at it that we wont be using living nature, keizan's +1 spirit would go useless dont you think so?

No, lets start from beginning.

Yes this new mage need a Living nature and one of the new staff to level up at level 3.

Ok let me explain you. In world of tree are two ways to build a deck, I'll don't enter in details for now, both ways to build it needs spirit in anyway.

- One of the way is Warrior deck with multiple races when Living nature is the main damage output, obviously you need to put chains and items for this build, limiting your spell capability and the spells in many ways don't be based only on spirit.   

- In other hand the pure mage deck build is way too different, spells based in spirit like [card]Than the sword[/card], [card]Rain of Death[/card] or even [card]Living nature[/card] can be casted only when flowering is put in game, flowering is a spell very useful in pure mage deck. Why? Is simple. Imagine that you have 2 Dais in a deck and a Homchai (Rockspeaker), is the turn (Turn 2) of Eikytan choose his opponent, this opponent have spirit 2, you cast 1 flowering first and then spirit based card that deal damage, for this example Living nature. The result of Flowering (Reduce 2 spirit and then cause 5 damages) + Living nature (Spirit + 4 / 2 per race). The oponent suffer 5 damages first and then 9 points of damage from Living nature, even better is you cast Rain of death.

In other cases 2xThan the sword with 5 spirit result in +12 melee damage that is high enough to kill almost any unit in game, specially used with Mylad and Eikytan.

Finally I think that whisper is one of the best card for world tree, spirit work defensive and offensive.

Wow ryogalx thanks a bunch! I knew it has to be something with the flowering spell!
I thought of something too though.. With the new staff (ancient staff), we can actually equip it to any of the world tree, and let keizan mage warrior to cast whisper and another spell. Even hailwalker can chain it too.

Thanks again ryoga! I like the mage idea a lot (since im using a multirace sap+hydra currently) time to change a bit hehehe

Not only Flowering has this effect Unfortunate encounter works in similar way but specially with magic poison. If an enemy has Poisons equipped you can reduce his spirit with flowering and Unfortunate encounter to increase damage, even Ishaia is susceptible to this kind of tactic.

Do you think it's a good idea to have more unfortunate encounter? Hmm i will consider placing one or two in there, i can see this deck as more not to OHKO i guess. It is possible to do a OHKO but as time goes by the deck hits much harder after stacking a lot of carrds. Definitely a cool deck!

I think encounter is good too, u can put two or three in the deck since it lasts for many rounds... 5 if I'm not mistaken and I think you also need some more defensive cards to keep your mages alive for a while...
