Besides the fact that I did not get one card over 5k in 6 big boosters and the fact that the trophies do not give out crystals nor xp, the event is really fun and I can't wait to get finish it so I can play the Autumn tournament seriously.
Also the fact that the paying players can get a card like [card]On equal terms[/card] is great and makes up for the high priced useless boosters. (due to the fact that there are too many crappy rares that I would not be surprised to have a higher generation rate then the expensive ones)
Conclusion: the event is excellent and events like this one are the only thing that make me spend money on the game.
EDIT: and is 10k really that much? I sold spiritspeaker 4 and kounok 3 and I was almost set for the entrance fee. Sure you have to chip your collection a little but it's far from being a tragedy.

Wow...can you not pay attention? Free Players can not sell cards. So yes. Having to grind to get 10k is very time consuming and costly. Therefore making this event one of the worst to come around in a very long time. But since you are a paying player of course you wouldnt have a problem with it since they are catering to your every need every five seconds anyways.

Then I understand all the complaints perfectly. To have to play around 200-300 games just to get the entrance fee is wrong. It is a pity since more participants equals a better tournament.

Also I do not feel very catered for when in 6 boosters I only get crappy cards (it's more like I feel i threw some money out the window) but my point was that regardless of these shortcomings the event is high quality (a high stakes tournament with many many more viable deck combinations and different gameplay then regular ELO).

i m not sure but didnt they activate the free feez stuff for ALL players? so... why not getting some free feez with a 2nd email account which can afford all the spam mail u ll receive and invest a day to get the feez needed to buy the boosters?

next thing is... the game has always been free... but still being angry about feerik being greedy is like not seeing the obvious... they will always allow you to go ahead up to a certain point and then they will ask you to pay... normal... please keep in mind that some of the older events were just meant for people who would buy feez like that with the staffs. so feerik already 'learned' about that

Just an idea of how to finish the event without having to play 210 matchs..

Use golems, Foam giant + Bomzar + a Cleric can allow you to youse all banners in one match, and if you have a friend to play with, you can cast freeze on each other with bomzar and get even more point. If you both have ANS, you can actually do this trophy in one match.

Actually, put arkalor and Eternal as a cleric, since he can use Freze and you can do it in one match without an ANS.

edit: While I advice to end that match after some times since you could risk the game freeze.. So I would say do like 2 or 3 matches.

they are indeed banned... but once u obtain the banner you can use them outside the tournament to gain the points... so a golem in normal rooms are quite possible

Same thing happened to me because the images of the trophy reward cards were broken when they first launched the event.

id rather have feerik give us the basic banners . Maybe an option to downgrade? This really sucks that I spent the $$ and i wont be able to finish it.

Man you complain too much, since the moment I logged in to the game for the event, on fryday night the banner that showed in the trophy was a kotoba one... Before that I cant say.

Beside giving no warning for the event and the bug on the Equal terms card that has been corrected I see nothing wrong with this event.
The way I see you expect that free players to get the same advantage that the ones who pay, or at least really close. It's actually really interesing event, I love to play event where they change the gameplay so you can come with new strats and etc.

Feerik still has to work on some issues, like testing equal terms before releasing it.. (I mean how could they not noticed how wrong it was working). And in giving some hints that there is an event coming like 2 or 3 days before.

But it's alredy common knowledge that events happens on Thursday, so if people still buy the release on wednesday, they are being dumb. Or want to try a high profit before prices drop, anyway it would be their choice.

So how does the card actually work? From what I have seen it only copies the cards that have been played after it.
So if you are second and play it as a chain it copies nothing.
Is this true or was this the problem that was fixed?

The card was not copying the effect, it was stealing them.

Ex: It's my turn so i play first, I, as Djamena use Equal terms, you as Pilking uses Rod + Rod. I would use both RoD's and you would use nothing... Not even sure you would do regular attack.

I suspect you sir are a paying player therefore the cost to enter doesnt affect you. However. Being a free player having to grind over 300+ games just to get the entrance fee is in no way fair or even balanced. If they had warned us say, on Monday the beginning of the week that something "other" than the normal weekly event was coming and that saving a few crystals would be a good idea. I would have nothing to say about this event except good things. But they didnt and they didnt even have the decency to respond to anyone who asked questions or expressed good points. I expect that all players (whether they be free or paying) get the same treatment in regards to accessibility. If there is a free reward. Then make it to where people wont be busting down to the wire just to be able to enter....and then not have enough time to get it. Thats the ONLY thing I've griped about since this thing started, and it is a very fair and valid point.

You dont like dont do the event, the free card reward is not even that good. I agree about the warning, but bashing the forum moderators as you did, who cannot do anything about the game is useless, they are just forum moderators. I agree that there should be a warning, you alredy made your point you did not like this event but you have 4 of 5 posts repeating how you belive the event sucks, we alredy got your point thank you.

As a player who pays very occasionaly I find the same problem incredibly annoying, but it does seem like the less useful rare cards come up more often than other more useful cards, maybe we are just unlucky .

honestly... this event was good... same as the last few except the staves event... take it that u have to play 300 games to get the required entry fee... so be it... other events like the man hunt were free as well if u had the time to play... which was most likely the whole week in which the event took place... as for this event now its the same... playing the whole week would get you the entry fee plus the free card... the shorter way can be paid... the longer way is free and for making it look even more attractive they give a special "for paying players only" card...

nevertheless i still agree that a public calendar would be great so that players could "see" events coming and be prepared a bit... even on short notice by lets say 1 week ahead

Please can a moderator or something deal with a problem I have... I have almost got the Guild master trophy (205/210) I have 54 mins left to finish it and the game has suddenly stopped accepting me playing the banner cards... Please could someone do something about this, as I have put significant effort into this trophy, and I really want that reward card... I have all the banners, I just need to play a couple more games to get the trophy, but its not registering it.

Is it just me or did the tournament end 3 hrs sooner then the timer said it would? I went to bed with 9hrs left in the tournament and woke up 6.5 hrs later but the tournament had already ended. Did the time jump or something?
