Temptation - what does it do in understandable language?

Can anyone, please, explain what [card]Temptation[/card] does?

I believe there is an translation error in the card.

French translation gives :

"This card attaches to your opponent's character.
Each time this character activates a card, which a copy is present in your opponent discard pile, the character loose 2 HP"

This is usefull against deck with 3 cards of a kind in the deck.
When he plays the second one he loose 2 points.
I have not tried if he looses 4 points when he plays the third one.

The text was changed a few weeks ago.

This is the current translation in-game.

This card is attached to the opposing character.

Each time that a card played by this character activates and that a copy of this card is in his Discard pile, he loses 2 Health points.

Duration : 4 Turns.


The forum does not always update on text change. It's always best to check in-game if you can.
