I think this build is awesome ( without legendary cards ).

3 x [card]Brothers in arms[/card] ( + 4 attack with chain )
3 x [card]Butterfly collar[/card]
3 x [card]Amber Dagger[/card]
2 x [card]Living Nature[/card] ( 9-10 magic damage with Kei'zan )
2 x [card]Dais Intervention[/card] ( + 5 defense and gain 1 life point )
2 x [card]Hypnotic Melody[/card]
2 x [card]Quick Draw[/card]
2 x [card]Perforator[/card]
1 x [card]Elfine Bow[/card] or [card]Anathematize[/card] or filler

This Deck can be quick and oneshot enemy characters or slow and kill in the second fight of your characters. Your hands will tell you what strategy you will do

Because [card]Silikat[/card] can't chain [card]Amber Dagger[/card] and can't do an addition attack before the 4th turn.
In this build [card]Melissandre[/card] can also oneshot kill an enemy character in her first fight with [card]Hypnotic Melody[/card] + [card]Quick Draw[/card] , like [card]Kei'zan[/card] with [card]Brothers in arms[/card] / [card]Amber Dagger[/card] + [card]Living Nature[/card] .
This Deck is slow and fast at the same time , it depends only from your current hand
However , i think [card]Silikat[/card] is a good character and you can try her in a different way , i think there are at least 3 or 4 different type of Multi-Race Sap Heart Deck

And still they get releases for SAP, while the last real release for merc we had was ciramor...

The deck is pretty good, it can shot near anything, especially with I hate brawlers banned from Elo. I just think the recent power creep on SAP decks its on a scale not seen before..

Last Merc update was Fog Hydra.

Fog Hydra was an event card. Not really an upgrade since it was released with the nomad cards and didnt get any new action/spell/item card made to creat new strats for merc.

If you're looking for new actions/spells/items for Mercs and Mercs only, good luck. I think there's only, maybe, two Merc specific non-character cards. Omen, and Yaril's Scythe. And technically, since Fog Hydra was released to the general public, it was a release. The people who got it for an event just got it earlier than everyone else.

I like this build, it does very well in the Level rooms at the moment (when not faced with a good compendium). Trouble is, it's very difficult to evolve. You NEED all the cards listed to complete the deck. My filler was the Alchemic Golem, instead of bow or Anath, it worked well - saving Keizan or Claw on their first turns if I had an otherwise bad draw. Other than that, exactly the same.

Might swap out Keizan for Mage/Warrior Hailwalker and swap out a dagger and a collar for 2 ROD's or something similar.

Don't swap Keizan...Hailwalker is a wimp by comparison.

2 versions of this build are, imo, the strongest...

Living Nature is a must have for Keizan..OHK all the way

With these characters Brothers in Arms is maxed as is the defensive card.

Ah yes, the Rockspeaker version as mentioned above. I think I'll give that a shot and compare success rates.

I agree, Living Nature is definitely a core card here. Taking out a Gaky on first turn always makes me smile

Another cards that should be included in Multi Race Saps could be:
Dissidence, and why haven't anyone suggested Favor of the Dawn? Its really good on Keizan with Living Nature and more chain cards isn't bad plus it adds up to their survivability.

I might also add MechaArmor! It would have been really great if they made that and the Golem a chain. Too bad, well they're still great nonetheless. Offensive can be another choice if you ain't got any in mind.

The Hailwalker(Mage) is grossly underrated. Now understand for the people that don't think too hard it's easy to over look him. I mean you look at the stats and you see...

1 less attack then Keizan(Warrior)
2 less defense then Keizan(Warrior)
No Chain Weapon
No Nature Guem to increase Living Nature +2

For +1 spirit and +1 health... big woop.

Well lets take Living Nature for example, Keizan's power card. The Hailwalker has one less race, so that is -2 damage... however he has +1 spirit, so that is +1 damage and he has "Gain +1 attack if he plays a nature spell" so that means it's the same. However he doesn't gain the +2 defense. So really he's down 2, but not probably as bad as you thought.

What can he do better?
Arachnophobia, he's a mage so he gets the +3 attack.
Root, one of the secretly strongest character disables in the game and he can cast it on someone who hasn't taken their turn yet. Ouch.
Non-nature spells, not gonna list them all, but he can cast them and with two spirit, not badly. How many times has Freeze been handy? Rain of Death? Why not.

But he doesn't fit the Mix Race stuff?
He's still a warrior and he better pairs with Rockspeaker or for those really savy... The Sachem. And I know this will break your brain but Brothers in Arms and Dias Intervention don't list specific races so not having a Nature Guem in there means... Wreckwood can play with you. This also means you can think about strategies with AoE goodness that Ydaine brings to the table...

Lets mix it up people!

Totally with you there Dracatis. I've been using a Hailwalker build to get around the elo bans.

That being said, Sap Heart Multi's have some new cards to play with, so this will prompt many people to "mix it up".
