Defending the Tomb of the Elders is the top priority for the Xzia Empire. Iro, the Emperor's champion, will lead the army with the precious help of the Crow clan against the terrible and vicious upcoming assault from the Desert Nomad. Is this the battle that will end all battles?

One of the first crow characters will have a new purpose with the arrival of Yu Ling the Exorcist. Expect a few new Undead cards and a special weapon for the Kotoba!

Mysterious Aura. Rare. Action. Kotoba. Crow. Attack +2 if an Item is played as a Chain. Defense +2 if "Karajutsu" is played as Chain. Your character becomes an Undead until the end of the Turn and all of your Undead characters heal 2 Health points. Chain.

Yu Ling (and her two upgrades). Uncommon. Character. Kotoba. Mage. Human. Esprit 1. Attack 5/8. Defense 2. Health points 13. At the end of the fight, "Yu Ling" heals 1 Health Point for each of your living Undead. Turns 1 and 4: Attack +1.

Shadow Master. Uncommun. Shadow Spell. AoE. Kotoba. Crow. Each opposing character suffers X magic damage where X equals his own Spirit +1. All characters wounded by this card have +2 to magic damage they suffer this Turn and the next.

Kusanagi (and its upgrade). Uncommon. Weapon. One Handed Sword. Kotoba. Defense +1. The moment this card is played and at the start of the fight, the opposing character has Defense -1 and Spirit -1 until the end of the Turn. Dual Wield. Activates immediately.

The Wall-Passer. Common. Action. Kotoba. Crow. Choose a card attached to the opposing character, this card returns to its owner's Deck. Undead: The Chosen card is discarded. If a card is not affected by the effect of this card, the opposing character has Spirit -2.

Rage. Common. Action. Warrior/Marauder. Every time that your character suffers damage, he has Attack +1 and if his Spirit equals 0, he has Defense -1, otherwise he has Spirit -1. Permanent.

Next one is most likely Kotoba. For the record - no way in hell they are going to release any WitchBlades anytime soon. With every WB release powercreep is inevitable.

It is nice buff for Crows which I am glad was made. But Kotoba is most developed guild in game and yet the most of releases are for them. Try to make more possibilities for decks of other guilds, please.

True. they got big releases for tsutai and trackers already, i wanna see one just for mercenaries to be honest. The only straight up mercenary deck i ever see is a tempus one.

Is very disappointing that staff upgrade a guild that recently has an upgrade and has a lot of stuff. I think that is pretty unfair that this duils, that have more than 600 cards in use (Not including that they can put mercenaries), receive a upgrade when other new or underrated guilds has very poor card choice and tactics.

It is a good release... i don't know why people rated it as bad... Just because you don't get you favorite guild updated doesn't mean you must get sad :S. In my opinion i also want mercenaries next... or a new councilor

Seens nice update, but you have to try to be sure. I liked the Rage card, I want to try it with a Paladin's Hammer based deck. If you use with the wand and manage to survive enough time..

Anyway, we are still missing a good mercenary release.. The last merc released that i remember was Cyramor (Not counting the Fog Hydra, who didnt bring merc cards with her).

Lets wait prices drop and see...

The updates is not only limited to guilds, some castes has very low potential or almost forgotten. What about world tree? they don't have their own mechanism, courtesans remain in silence for months, Witchblades has no new updates cuz hey put heavy deck caste in play that don't really need update, Compedium, eclipse for not mention a entire guild, mercenaries. This last one has really nice units that in meta was completely struck and if my memory don't fail me the last minors updates was The thunder king and the Fog hydra... that is no really compatible with standard mechanism of the guild.... ahh I forget it! Shana, the Crystalocat and Lucian.... wooohhh what a great update!

In other hand my real complain is about availability, Kotoba as a guild has LOT, for real, LOT of available cards that can be used for every caste. Why to reinforce the most extensive guild in game? So... come on, face it.

I believe Fog Hydra was the mercs update.

Fog Hydra Was the additional prize for those who got the Egg God Trophy during the easter event, but it was also made available to everyone else via boosters.

It was just a courtesy to release it in boosters at all, so it doesn't really count.

If we talk about castes, let's talk of the previous releases of the Crow. Before this release the last card they get was only [card]Vanish[/card] and it have been several months since the Toran the Regent release.

It's funny because I remember some months ago there were several people complaining about Kotoba being left behind. And now we have people complaining about they are having too much atention. I think it's impossible to make everyone happy.
