Heya guys

I'm looking to build a balanced and competitive nehantist deck, build around dimizar and iron mask and perhaps ardrakar, would it be viable in the ELO rooms? what cards would you guys use? x)

yeah, you definetly need a new start to be able to compete with discard-decks, and even with ans it wont be easy.

Just some more questions, can i get chain with any of those cards? it doesn't say in the cards discreption that they are able to chain, sorry if it is a newbish questio

should i had in the deck, tenebrium, Coaching,
The forbiden book and pulling the strings? or are those are bad cards?

Pure mages like Dimizar and Iron Mask can chain any non-AOE spell cards (AOE spells are the ones that have "Area of effect" in their text). Ardrakar, on the other hand, as a warrior guemelite she can't chain spells.

Tenebrium can be a great card but if it comes before you get to equip the corruptions on the opponent it will just limit your hands. Pulling the strings can be useful if you don't get the Desolation of the heart on time o facing against other nehantists, other than that it's not that good.

The forbidden book is more useful in demon decks, not that good in the mage one.

I don't use Coaching myself but it if you can chain 2 of them with Dimizar on the turn 2 or 4 it's a lot of healing.

It is really that important to have 3x demon may rise and 3x demoniac portals in the deck?

What cards should i get to get chain on ardrakar? x)

I prefer to use only 2 and 2, but that's my taste.

There's are not many cards to chain with Ardrakar in this kind of deck. I prefer to use Anagram lv4 because of her hability:

She has lower spirit and defense though and she doesn't have the def buff hability. It is whatever you prefer.

One card you can also put in your deck, if you have it, is the [card]Dreamlike Encounter[/card] trophy card. It can help you to get the key cards of you deck faster.

Well i've come up with this deck:

Dimizar
Ardrakar
Iron Mask

2x Coaching
3x Corruption of the Soul
2x Demon May rise
2x Demoniac Portal
2x Desolation of the heart
1x Life devouer
3x Revealing the secret
2x Tenebrium
3x Vital Syphon

Well i still think that there is room for improvement, what would you guys change?

Hi there, personaly I run my like this:

3x Vital Siphons
3x Perversion
3x Corruption of the Soul
3x Revealing the Secret
3x Desolation of the Heart
2x Pulling the Strings (Rarely use except in a mirror, don't feel they are needed)
1x Clumsiness (Rarely use, but when I do it win games vs. things that I otherwise have a big problem with (high +spi items or Magic Immunity)
1x Black Chimera (Awesome item, I don't think I need any more, but I feel that the 1 I have is very good and does me very well, Black Chimera + Corr of the Soul can sometimes 1shot, and people are never ready for that vs this kind of deck)
1x Tenebrium (meh, it can be used for the +3def, I very seldom want to use the big magic attack since I want the corruptions to jump around and I want to get as many corruptions as possible).

I think I will change the Strings + Tenebrium for 3x Demon may Rise, since its a corruption and it does a little dmg, I can also place it on anyone, but I'm not sure, maybe go 2x Demon may Rise and 1x Demoic Portal, maybe cut 1x Corr of the Soul for a 2nd Demonic Portal.
