Why is it that when I cast 'Demon May Rise' on a golem such as 'Foam Giant', he is still able to equip any item. The way the card reads it turns the char into a demon which can't do this. When it was used on one of my nature guelemites in the past they were no longer able to cast nature spells so I know it works to a degree.
