So i have been turned into a big fan of priests... so after almost finishing my nomad priests deck here is my second project

[card]Lady Yilith[/card]
[card]Lady Jane[/card] Spirit version
[card]Lucyan[/card] Priest

[card]Sacred Nova[/card] x3
[card]Divine Light[/card] x3
[card]Paladin´s Hammer[/card] x3
[card]Life Devourer[/card] x2
[card]I hate Brawlers[/card] x3

Lady Yilith is going to be th paladin, Jane the healer... and Lucyan the caster...
The fact is that all can do well in each role but thay are better for the roles i described before... I was thinking on using Divine Wrath ... but dont know... What do you think guys???

I've been thinking very much about such a deck myself, but IMO the better Merc choices are pretty expensive, to replace Lucyan (your link is broken, I presume Lucyan is one of the new "starter" guys?).

Jane and Yilith are good, but in the third place you could use:
1) Sevyrath - super expensive, but pretty good with his hammer. I think he synergizes better in a warrior deck though.

2) Stoneeater - very good, but difficult to obtain.

3) Eternal - can't use Nova, but has good stats all around.

The problem with the Hammer in general is that it turns you into a warrior, meaning you are pretty much "stuck" once you play it.

I'll be tempted to use Eternal, Apostle of Destiny and Lady Yilith setup. Mixing key Tempus cards and Theurgies coupled with Rampart of Faith.

Still I saw Lucyan priest stat and it looks awesome. He gets +1 to attack when he cast Theurgy if I am not mistaken. Not a fan of Lady Jane as her order are not that great.

And yes... i dont like lady jane a lot... The tempus is another possibility. On the other hand i am not in lvl 20 to buy the stone eater and i am far away from getting all the epic characters...

I am not liking paladins hammer a lot since a lot of people are discarting it frecuently... but with it i won a match againts a maxed Ishaia deck

i think Aryphas would be good for the fact that se is a golem and that way she could have some items that other priests dont. like the Draconian staff

but that would have to replace some theurgys so Aryphas would be better in any deck except for a priest deck, ironic isnt it?

ps: can someone tellme the effects of all 4 lucyan evolutions? thank you

Out of curiosity, anyone have the English description of his mage version? If not mistaken his ability is not really relevant as a mage.

I have tried testing this configuration and found it really hard to inflict enough damage to kill off opponents. With Desert Nomads, you have at least Aura of Faith, Team Spirit or even Swarm of Scarabs to supplement your damage output.

Paladin's Hammer is not great as it converts you to warrior, hence you need to need to accommodate other non-theurgy cards :-(

Perhaps the future Ice Elf release will help out in this respect? The next best option is Tempus.

I'm running a Sevylath, Lady Yilith and Foam Giant combination thats doing well. I'm going to try to put it here but I might get the card names wrong, since I am not sure whats their name in english.

Lady Yilith
Sevylath
Foam Giant

3x Divine Light
3x Sacred Nova
2x Paladins Hammer
2x Life Devourer
2x Faith Staff... (The one that fives +2 for healing spells)
1x Runic Bracer (The one that gives 2 armor +2 spirit if oponente cast a spell)
1x Firion
1x The best defence
1x Adventure! (The Trophy card that allows u to pass one item from one hero to another)
1x Lay Bare
1x Scroll of Imobilization
1x Dark Heart Stone (The one that gives spell immunity on the first level)
1x Sky boots

Its not a full cleric mercenary deck, but it is one based mainly in the Paladin's Hammer, and the giant is necesarry to increase the deck damage output...

Yesterday I made to 1864 on the Elo room. But my lost rate aganst discard decks is 100%. Waiting for the day I finally grab a ANS...

Well.. yeah Im really having alot of problems of succes with this type of deck... my nomad priest deck is much better so i think i will be leaving this idea and start focusing on a pirate item based deck
