Ica-Rusty is no longer an old machine, he has found new purpose thanks to Klementine and Nut. Time to get that powder going!!
This release introduces a new character and five new cards that will hopefully find their place in Pirate Decks.
Ica-Rusty's Mechanical Arm. Rare. Item other. Pirate. Mecanist. Defense +1. Mechanist: Attack +2. If your character dies, this card is moved and attached to one of your living Golems determined at random.
Sky Inhabitant. Uncommon. Spell Lightning. Pirate. Mage. Duration: 2 Fights. Whenever a card played by the opposing player activates, he suffers X magic damage where X equals the Spirit of your character; +2 for each "Lightning rod" in play if the card played is a Spell.
Conquer or Perish. Uncommon. Action. Pirate. Marauder. Attack +1 and Defense +1. If the opposing character plays an Action card after this one, your character immediately performs a physical Attack instead of his normal Attack. Chain: Item.
Ica-Rusty (and its two upgrades). Common. Character. Pirate. Warrior. Golem. Mecanist. Spirit 0. Attack 4/7. Defense 3. Health points 12. Gain Chain if you play a Pirate Item. Turns 3, 4 and 6: A "Time Bomb" is picked from your Discard Pile and attached to an out of combat opposing character determined at random.
Overload. Common. Action. Pirate. Golem. Mecanist. Attack +2 if one of your living characters is Human and a Mechanist. If not, Attack +2 and the two characters in battle suffer 2 direct damage. In addition to that, the card is discarded at the end of the fight. Permanent.
Tricorne. Common. Clothing Item. Pirate. Heals 1 Health point. Attack +1 if your character has another Item attached to himself the moment this card is played.

ANOTHER pirate update?
Anyone see ANY use for these cards in ELO? Cause I see nothing that will prevent any one-shots or magic damage or discarding.

ANOTHER pirate update? Sheesh really? It would be awesome if you guys could concentrate on a guild that actually needs updates like... uh I dunno DESERT NOMADS.
Unfortunately I see no competitive use for these cards. I doubt I'll be seeing any of these cards in the ELO, not to mention a high scored pirate deck LOL.
Oh well maybe some people will end up spending money for feez on this new release. Personally I have not spent money on this game since the sap heart guild was released, having realized new cards will come out every week anyway, what would be the point of basically subscribing a weekly subscription to sub-standard cards with no competitive edge?
im sorry but deserts nomads dont need any cards, they are the most complete guild of the game a they also had an update recently

Ilustrations is nearly perfect, I love the new cards. ^^ more marauder cards for my deck. Mechanist decks looks pretty well too.
I really like overload ilustration and his effect. Now Klementine (Nut's version), Nut and Ica-rusty was funny band to play ^^

ANOTHER pirate update?
Anyone see ANY use for these cards in ELO? Cause I see nothing that will prevent any one-shots or magic damage or discarding.
the pirates are the weakest guild in the game , they need more support than other guilds IMHO ......
however , the new illustrations are really good , i like them a lot and the cards are good ( i really like the spell lighting , now pirates mages are better and playable )

I make some test with conquer or perish, I found interesting things about it. I'll write my opinions when I had 3 of them.
Pretty nice card, I found two synergies with it, the first it's obvious Narwal and the second scroll of fragility. You can deal two attacks or concentrate damages in one unit. Pretty useful against control decks ^^. I'll perform more test to calculate his competitive ranking against elo decks.

Whats the point of adding these semi-decent cards when you're not nerfing OP cards like ishia (and her combos), last word, banner/void, lightning bolts combo and the super zil beatdown cards. Please do some balancing...

To be honest, it is time to stop the complain culture in the forum and be thankful that they are releasing cards that allow players to explore different deck ideas and hopefully create deck diversity.
I'm glad they are trying their best to control 'power creep' that happens to most of the CCG games out there. Imagine that they release POWER cards every week. What will happen then?
Stop complaining and just have fun building different decks. Eventually the full potential of other decks will be realised.

Im not saying to release OP cards every week which i dont like either. I'm saying to nerf OP cards/combos to BALANCE all guilds / classes. It's not nice to see the same deck winning every week in ELO competition, is it?

oh yeah stop complaining about cards being op for goodness sake just because a certain deck beats you and stuff you'll start bickering about it being op and so on and so forth

well you get an initial attack instead of your normal attack before they declare strike on your normal damage dealt... i don't make the rule feerik does

well you get an initial attack instead of your normal attack before they declare strike on your normal attack...

When you use conquer or perish the unit attack immediately and then you chain a scrool of fragility or narwal, then attack again to your opponent or other opponent character, or in the case of the scroll low the opponent attack if you want to survive.
Pretty nice and fun card ^^. Work pretty well.

When you use conquer or perish the unit attack immediately and then you chain a scrool of fragility or narwal, then attack again to your opponent or other opponent character, or in the case of the scroll low the opponent attack if you want to survive.
Pretty nice and fun card ^^. Work pretty well.

I try [card]Conquer or perish[/card] and [card]Sky inhabitants[/card] yesterday but now they fix it to the proper work and it sucks.... Conquer should work without that stupid condition and if you have sky inhabitants attached and they deal magic damages you mage can't make melee attack...
This is ridiculous.... if you want to upgrade a guild at least quest yourself if you'r doing the right thing.
Edit/ If Conquer or perish works every time, with items and spells too that was a great card. Geminieye should chain pirate jolly rogers.... but not... all guild can get cool cards but pirates get all the junk. This guild is unplayable, I'll test the new mechanist.

Maybe mechanist cards work for something.. It looks good. The other cards is very situation dependent.
