I think some adjustment should be made so that regardless of HOW you win, you get the same EXP gain.
If it is a valid tactic to create a Discard Deck, and win with it, you should get the same exp as someone that is using a Beat Down deck that kills all the other guys cards as fast as they can. Both are valid tactics and should count equally towards a win.
It could be argued that designing a deck that has to endure the beating and last long enough to win via discard actually takes more thought and consideration than just stacking a deck with characters and items that do the most +Attack.
Just a thought.

I believe this is in regard to a beat down deck getting a perfect and gaining the extra crystal and exp, where as a perfect for a discard deck doesn't have the deaths to trigger it. Sadly I don't agree sure you won, and I have no issue with discard, however that's the nature of the beast. This game is designed on battle and defeating your opponent in combat. You take the alternate route by your own choice like I do sometimes too.
Discard is a little harder to deal with so you can guarantee wins where some other decks couldn't and effectively more wins equals more exp in the long run. My suggestion is if you want perfects build a deck to do so, as if you can effectively use a discard deck and the skill to win defensively you should have no problem going the other route.

Well all I can tell you is when I win via killing all the other players characters, I see a lot of "green" on each characters exp bar after the game. However, when I win via discard, at the end my characters barely have a sliver of green EXP increase each.
