Are just ridiculous. I outscore my opponent by 4x and because he burns all of my card he gets the win. That isn't skill, nor is it fun.

The game isn't just about doing the highest damage possible: many strategies are in place, that's why the game has interest.
If you do not have enough cards to draw, you loose. Discard decks prefer this strategy rather than dealing damages, like others tend to prefer physical damages, others magical damages, and other again, controlling their opponent, to name a few tactics. All strategies that comply with the rules are fine to play. Letting the opponent have no card to draw in order to win complies with the rules.

I think the overall point here is that discard decks need to be looked at. Unless you have a deck that can burn down the opponent in 4 turns or less, there is pretty much no other strategy to win.

We looked into it already, and they seem okay. Not saying they are easy to beat, but people do beat them.
After that, I would suggest to discuss with other players about how to win against those decks: there are different "schools" to beat them. It's a tense fight, yes, but it can be won

I agree with Lonak with this one. The topic has come up again and again. The best way to defeat discards are via beatdown decks (i.e. Nomads Eclipse is the best as they have 0 spirit and fast attack).
Contrary to what people believe, you need fair amount of skill to play a discard deck.
- You have to monitor the graveyard for potential threats (ANS, Lightning Bolt 3, etc.) and [card]Anathematize[/card] at the right time.
- Keep track of your opponent's cards left in his deck. I have misplayed a lot of time because I decked out before he did.
- When to hold back your key cards, when to discard it for a better card from your deck. You don't want to deck out before the opponent does.
- When to run [card]Mental Siphon[/card] or discard a card for [card]Cloning[/card]. Or chaining Mental Siphon -> Cloning to maximise opponent's discard.
- Plan ahead when using [card]Cloning[/card] as you have different class characters.
If you cannot grasp the intricate working of a discard, most likely your discard deck will fall apart.
If you encounter a pure discard deck, here is what you do:
- Do NOT activate Spirit bonus!
- Do NOT discard your cards! Let them do it for you.
- DO use permanent attack boosting or big damaging spells. Equip useful attack items. Over the turns, your damage dealing will stack up.
- Do NOT play any defensive cards.
- DO use Anathematise to prevent discard decks to recycle their key cards. This will render [card]Panic[/card] useless as well. Can be used to counter [card]Prestige[/card].
Hope that will put discard decks into perspective. Please think about different ways to defeat the deck rather than saying it is overpowered... because it really isn't.

I think this thread is just some kid being angry at losing against these decks. xD Didn't think it would ensue in such detailed posts. lol

I just couldn't help it XD I have had enough of people complaining about certain decks and how they couldn't beat it. There are strategies to do it and definitely ways to beat it as more cards are being released. There are also plenty of threads in the forum for such discussions if they bother to use the search functionality .

Of this I am very aware. lol
I am contemplating on wether or not to make a thread 'Why this deck/strategy/card is not OP. Learn to deal with it.' and there explain to players how to easily beat these so called 'overpowered' builds and cards.

The French forum has some sort of decklist repository. So it might be a good idea to have it here as well... with pros and cons attached to each decks. At least it will spread awareness of the decks. It don't have to be a full-blown decks... just a skeletal version of a deck to encourage deck experiment/building. For example:
Dragon Knights: Valentin, Zahal, Kounok the Prophet
Essential Cards:
- Dragon Armor
- Draconian Sword
- Magic Attack
- The Best Defense
Optional Card:
- etc. etc. etc.
