Its to protect you against high negative damage amounts. For example, Armada has a billion power tokens and knocks you down to -28. You play this card, and you only go down to -4, which can be a game changer in the end.

Lol, yes, you have to play it the turn Armada is destroying you.
Why bother using this if you can use [card]Dazzle[/card]? It switches attack bonuses with [card]Armada[/card], turning your priest into a nasty cookie cutter.
Imagine using [card]Spiritual duel[/card] + [card]Dazzle[/card] against power houses like [card]Telendar[/card] or [card]Abomination[/card].
Don't look down on nomad priest because they aren't taking the beatings for free

omfg come on guys dont you see it lol its not a healer its for when all the characters on board die you get the extra points mages i face may want to uswe this and it really good for desert nomads

Have you even read Dazzle??? It can only be used by craftmen, warriors and marauders... NOT priests! Summoning Kepher on the other hand, can be used by priests

Lol haven't playing nomad for a while, but I want to make offensive nomad priest because scarabs and soraya look cool.
