I am interested in starting pirates but I have no clue how useful cards are and what the best cheap ones are. Any suggestions for the deck would be appreciated. Currently my collection only includes the Zil Warriors deck from the begining of the game and 1 character I bought to cover one of the characters

I'm actually having pretty good luck with Poukos, Bragan, Briscar. I need pirates for achievements and I threw these guys together not caring if it would work and as odd as it is, it's working fairly well. Kinda like the Pirates version of a Tracker Deck. Ice Barrier, Teamwork, Suppling, a Firey Sword to ace one character right before Bragan goes under, Pirate Codes, Jolly Roger, Dominate the opponent, simple shield, shield bash... If you can get her you can upgrade Briscar to Captian, there is an awesome combo in there somewhere...

Okay, how much would you say that deck totals value wise. I'm simply asking because I have 440 on me and I just want to know what to aim for

You wont be able to build a deck with 440 crystals ...

Well obviously! I can't even buy the characters with that. I'm just trying to get a rough estimate of how much to aim for

keep battling and save a 50k before you start thinking of changing your deck, buy boosters, do the free fee'z things..you're looking at an expensive deck that requires a complete new set of cards, not just any starter deck for 1k..

definitely, plus, the zil is also a very good deck if you're patient, i made a shadow out of my selene and silene and an abom from my ergue's, bigrage and the big blue fella'.. you'll learn to like them if you keep them, but they're also very competitive so you'll be sure to win your rounds for crystals if you wanna save for the pirates..

Yeah I've found them very useful, to bad ergue is rather expensive so I don't see getting it any time soon. I think I'll buy silene next because bigrage only goes to 2 and isn't very powerful

well yeah, ergue is expensive, try fusing the shadow who's got stats similar to lvl 5 abom and with better spirit, meanning more endurance against mages..=o)
