leaving a game elo penalty

i just notice that the elo penalty for leaving a game is small some times just -10 even lower around -5 . i think it should be higher like when you take too long to decide it will cost -20 elo points

i think its kinda unfair because sometimes its the lag that cause you to lose because you took to long to decide, however there is no excuse for leaving a game some times players even leave if you'll about to get a perfect score on them or even if you just killed a char with out losing yours so it should be that the elo penalty for leaving a game should be the highest amongst all because there's no excuse for leaving a game.

What matters is that you get points if they leave. Don't worry about what others do...be glad of the win and the points :-)

so if some one leaves a game and you will only gain +1 elo points and the other only -1 elo points you'll be ok with it?

yeah i know, but hes contradicting himself. you would have to give the same punishment to both since you cant know for sure

I agree. Besides, you're point are calculated on the difference of your Elo points. If you have both about the same you still can get around 15 points if if your opponent leaves. I don't mind that at all.

OMG i should have read around first, I just posted the same thing... and for whinger Í am only talking about leaving. If you're try to do the trophies it's hard to complete if they leave early. Not everythings about the Elo points you know, sometimes it's about common decentcy
