Re : Any suggestions for a crow deck

for my crow deck im playing with

[card]Karasu Kage[/card]
[card]Oogoe Kage[/card]
[card]Malyss[/card]

i believe Malyss gives you added versatility than [card]Gan'so[/card], with the extra attack buff for Karajutsu but also the ability to play Ice Barrier to give a nice defense boost also

3x [card]Karajutsu[/card]
3x [card]Disagreement[/card]
3x [card]Bleeding[/card]
2x [card]Tsume[/card]
2x [card]Katamaru[/card]
2x [card]Ice Barrier [/card]
2x [card]Manipulation[/card]
2x [card]It is time[/card]
1x [card]Anathematize[/card]

Re : Any suggestions for a crow deck

or you do oogoe kage karasu kage and lord galmara
instead play overwhelming defeat to raise defence
and you dont have to worry about mixing mage and warrior cards
and you can use the lord galmara to chain daggers, the ones also chained to assasination: )
and karasu kage + tsume + assasination= WIN

You could do this, but if you'd rather use [card]Gan'so[/card] for whatever reasons, swap out the Katamaru's and Ice Barriers for [card]Overwhelming Victory[/card]and [card]Wakizashi[/card], if they can be afforded.

I would also not use more than one [card]Manipulation[/card] if you go this way, as having too many cards that can only be used by one character can fill your hand with unusable cards for a turn or turns.

I agree because manipulation is quite expensive

Re : Any suggestions for a crow deck

I'm thinking about building a crow deck:

[card]Karasu Kage[/card]
[card]Oogoe Kage[/card] Marauder
[card]Malyss[/card]

3x [card]Tsume[/card]
3x [card]a warrior's fury[/card]
3x [card]assassination[/card]
1x [card]time to die[/card]
3x [card]Karajutsu[/card]
3x [card]Disagreement[/card]
1x [card]Katamaru[/card]
3x [card]Ice Barrier [/card]

I want to include [card]Bleeding [/card]and [card]Diversion[/card] but I have no idea how it will turn out. Let me know what you guys think about this deck smile

Uuh, not really, the crow has a problem when dealing against an anti equipment card, if one of those tsumes was discarded you'll deal less damage even with assassination..

They do get beat fairly easy.  Asa, Gaky and Iro are a much more versatile trio.

My crow deck wins 82% of the time so it isnt quite the easy-beat wink

Re : Any suggestions for a crow deck

Breezy may have been a little harsh, but in all honesty he is right. Crow are fun don't get me wrong, but elo wise, or tournaments should they make their return, well they just wont be anywhere in competition with there current support.

I like crows too and heavily invested, I have ran every combination of pure crow possible. While some can win you won't win as much as others out there. I have tried warrior build, marauder based with Tsume, diversion and assassination, and thrown in Malyss to try that route as well.

Crow is a fun deck for now, but as for being a winner, I don't care what anyone says. Unless you are taking a maxed deck into level rooms and beating noobs, or people trying to level their cards, you wont be winning until the expand and get more options.

Re : Any suggestions for a crow deck

Everyone's deck wins an excellent amount of times.. Depends on who you play... Playing games in the level room vs random people trying to evo does not help your cause of saying your deck is glorious.

Crow gets beat a lot.. As soon as you lose a Tsume, you can pretty much give up on your deck.

Re : Any suggestions for a crow deck

As a side note..  I made a random Merc deck with 1 of each card and used level 1 characters.. including Fog Snake..  That deck has a 100% win rate.. I played 1 game and won.  You should all make that deck based on the awesome win rate it has.

Okay man, chill. No need to troll the forum. The game is about having fun. I personally have my own crow deck, and it did me good until i could afford to make a stronger one. I don't care what deck you have, unless you're cheating you'll never have a full 100% win rate. There's too many random factors that could go all wrong, like multiple bad hands that could potentially ruin a game. If i get the right hands w/ my sap heart QD deck i destroy faces, but i've had a few games where my hands were crap for 2-4 turns, and i got smoked.
I never could understand why people take games like serious life or death fights. hmm

Re : Any suggestions for a crow deck

My Crow deck was~
Characters:
Malyss - 4990c
Karasu Kage -1698c (needs 1 full exp Karajutsu for lvl 4)
Oogue Kage -200c (marauder version, has 2 upgrades @ lvl 3)

Needed Actions/Spells/Items:

x2 Disagreement -100c (Malyss protection tongue)
x2 Ice Barrier -3,450c
x3 Karajutsu -380c (attack +2 for all Crow when played on Malyss)
x2 Katamaru -399c
x2 Overwhelming Victory -3,400c
x2 Tsume -5,900 (played on Karasu + Oogoe)
x2 Diversion -149c (for brutal Tsume vs. mage hits ^^)
this leaves 5 slots open, i'm using (and trying to make better >.<)
x1 Mystic Staff -720c
x1 Assassination -(you have the zil deck so you have one, lol)
x1 The Best Defense... -18,500c (got lucky in a pack ^^)
x1 Unleash Hell -4,985c
x1 Time to Die <- This is a trophy card. the Executioner one in the shop 195 Fee'z sad
it worked pretty well for me for quite some time just having fun. I just have recently dismantled it, in favore of trying to build a circus discard deck.

Re : Any suggestions for a crow deck

I believe a competitive crow deck will be consists of karasu, oogoe, gan'so..
It will also strongly needs 2 or 3 tadaa you're a bunny and a  wakizashi or living dagger.. don't level up the dagger if you use it though

Re : Any suggestions for a crow deck

agreed.

Tadaa You're a Bunny will help keep the Crows alive without necessarily affecting their offensive power.

I like Wakizashi more than living dagger for two reasons:

1.  one handed sword for Gan'so and Oogoe to chain

2. Activates immediately

Makes it quite the expensive caste though, since Bunnys go for 24K and Wakizashis go for 40-50K
