Freeze.

Dark Stone heart protects the character.
Freeze targets the stone not the character.

Why? Freeze puts in deck.

Also, this is one of the more annoying interactions for me... the heart already means little if they last word/than the sword, but to be able to freeze/rain of death just adds insult to injury...

I mean, the thing is meant to utterly absorb magic, no?

***bip*** right about freeze returning to deck. my mistake. i had the same gripe not too long ago. apparently it only blocks spells that target ***bip*** character specifically...but i also noticed it doesn't work against permanent spells like magic poison. or mebbe it was just me. but spells that target ***bip*** items or ***bip*** deck remain unaffected. i post a rant about "spell immunity" being a misnomer...and supposedly the wording on the card was supposed to have been changed, but it still say spell immunity on mine too.
it's still a handy li'l rock, but there aren't any cards besides the new one that effectively negate spells. magic shield level 2 is good but it cuts ***bip*** attack in half and to use it effectively to block two spells you would have to play on a turn where you have initiative and ply it first....unfortunately, it's not chainable so there is no way to counter act the side effect. to chain into it means you would eat a spell then cut ***bip*** own attack in half....double suck!
