the way the cards are written does not reflect in the effect they have when played.

my biggest gripe i guess would have to be the "nehantic stone" which has the effect of spell immunity....which i took to mean "it makes you immune to spells". after playing with card a little and asking questions on the forum i now know it only applies to spells directed at the character and not spells directed at the deck or cards equipped on the character.

my next gripe...and the one that caused me to write this cuz i'm irritated and need to vent...is the new card "detonation" which instead of detonating all the items listed on the card...it only activates one of them at random. why!? tha's not what the card says it does. it clearly says: it activates time bomb, time poison, time potion and port if they are equipped on characters.
thinking it was an awesome addition i played clover, clementine and nut; played multitasking and time poison w/ clover, then played 2 time bombs w/ nut, then played detonate and smash that iron w/ clementine....one of the time poisons blew up, i smashed a sword leaving the time bombs to blow up in my face on the subsequent rounds. aaaaaaaarrrrrg!

where in the forum can i go to find out things like this before they cost me a match?

sidenote: how are ppl maxing out cards 3 days after they've been released? o.O you can't possibly have that many xp boosters....

so in other words....cheating? ...or as online gamers call it...boosting? (it's not really cheating per se, just a really frowned upon way of reaching "achievements")

[card]Nehantic Stone[/card] is an item card and its effects are granted to your character, not itself. This works for every item card out there.

Most new cards have slight error translations or certain wordings have different meanings in different languages. I can well imagine the French version of teh card has the proper and correct ruling on it, whereas versions in different languages may have misleading translations/wordings on them at first. Feerik does work on these and does its best to make the wording as crisp and clear as a spring morning. Please be a little patient with the new cards.

A lot of cards have changed wording recently, the link to that Nehantic stone is the old version of the card.

Check in-game for the real wording.

Concerning "Detonation", the wording is identical to the french version so that's probably a bug on the french side.

I will check into it.

i wish i did win thousands....i've only won about 60% of my matches. which isn't bad i guess....like said just venting frustration. like the frustration of a perfectly laid out plan blowing up in one's face. KWIM...

anything better than 50% is good in all honesty.

Winning more than you lose is never something to complain about.

granted. not complaining about losing as much as i'm whining about HOW i lost. ...and this was really just a rant. seems detonation has been fixed, so now i'm happily blowing up evo3 character with my soon to be evo 2 "nut". .....i didn't mean for that to sounds as inappropriate as it does. o.O
