i need help on deciding a deck

I am level 16
i currently have both a Hom'chai Items have a soul deck and a Pack deck.
Both decks are complete and seems like i cant go all that much further in the elo Tournaments. These decks arent cutting it with Anathematize in most decks, and as soon as Fenrath goes down the rest of the pack are easy pickings.

Would you guys give me any advice about whether or not i should sell them.

i thinking of going more for the Nomad deck, I have Djemena, and currently working on sphinx, but i wanna know how well does this deck do in the Elo Tournaments.
Which nomad deck would be best? i want to be able to use thurgies, atleast have one thurgist

Noz Mages are too expensive, and
what do people think about courtesan decks? ishia is too expensive
thank yoiu

I have to disagree with you there, Trackers are the most complete and cohesive deck you can get for the money, with most costing around 20-30k at the most, but I defer to Bleachman as that is his area of expertise. As for the sap hearts, while most of the cards are cheap, the ones that most decks hinge on, like quick draw, are rather expensive. For the time being I would either stick with the Nomads, which are the subject of various forum topics if you scroll down the strategy board, or give Trackers a whirl and see how they turn out for you.

Re : i need help on deciding a deck

Trackers are a cheap alternative that is very effective, but I find I have the most problems with

Asajiro
Iro the Duelist
Lord Gakyusha

The three of them are hardcore attack and defense, and with the appropriate weaponry (Emperor's Speech/Wakizashi), Randori, Blast off, etc, can smack the hell out of just about anyone...though I do think they may be more vulnerable to mages...adding in runic gauntlets may be the way to resolve that...or counterspells?

Dont get me wrong, Trackers do suffer at the hands of certain decks, but honestly there are very few decks out there that dont have some weakness or another. For the price Trackers are the best alternative

Re : i need help on deciding a deck

I was speaking more of a deck that gives me the most problems regardless of what decktype I'm playing.  I've beaten it before, but when I see that lineup, I sigh and dig a trench for some prolonged warfare...

Trackers are definitely the best bang for the buck.

I think the original post was asking for the CHEAPEST while also COMPETITIVE deck in ELO. Trackers isn't an option as it is weak in ELO.

i would agree with deanza. trackers are by far the best bang for your buck but they don't have much bang. and they aren't worth much.
Nomads are great. eclipse is the most common used one for nomads and the are not all that expensive (my entire deck cost my <150K)

Re : i need help on deciding a deck

I think the original post was asking for the CHEAPEST while also COMPETITIVE deck in ELO.

Cheap and competitive really are like oil and water.

Theres a reason certain cards are expensive, its because they work and they win.

Good eclipse needs at least 2 assasinates, even with the free one thats still 70k alone. Levelling DJ costs a Tomb and a Dazzle, combined still going for 40k-ish today. Then you need obeisity, solaris, novas, and a choice of dazzle, solars anger, divine light, and other cards that aren't exactly cheap. If you made yours for under 150 and it has all the good bits in it in todays market I congratulate you.

Trackers are your best bet for being semi-competitive (1700 average rating) while not breaking the bank, under 100k total deck cost. IHAS is a onetrick pony that is beat to easily. Eclipse and Quickdraw, as it stands, are your best mid-range bets of  around 200-300k, and should get you 1900 tops. Another good choice is craftsmen that range around this too.

Being truely competitive, you need to start breaking the bank. Either running courts, Zil marauders, Noz mages, or A New Start Mill/Healer merc multiclass decks. None come cheap.

Competitive depending on your definition, is pretty black and white. Want to compete to win ELO every week? You won't do it being cheap. Want to win more than you lose? You're still dropping hundreds of crystals on midrange decks. Want to be cheap and see the champions hall every week? Go Tracker.

If there were no luck in TCG, how boring would that be?

i agree, and all of this has actually been very helpful, imma try with eclipse first, but if i get lucky with my pulls on the packs, i could go all the way courtesan

Re : i need help on deciding a deck

oh the biggest question i actually have is in your opinion should i sell my pack deck to finish building my tracker deck, and whatever left over go into the eclipse.

i like trackers i have a weak version of one.

should i sell the pack, would it be worth it in the long run?
