Councilor Ishaia spell pumping
Is her pumping up helpful spells like ice barrier working as intended.
It says specifically on her card non AOE spell effects increased by 1 but ice barrier is giving 2 defense.

Her +1 spell effect is not only limited to spell damage, it also boost effects. So when Ishaia uses ice barrier it gives two defense instead of one.
Never lost a fair game... or played one.

I'm not disputing that she shouldn't get bonuses to spell effects other then damage, it plainly says on her card that she should. I am saying isn't Ice Barrier AoE? it affects multiple charecters. Her card says she shouldn't get bonuses on AoE effects.

no it is not only cards that are labeled with AoE are aoe spells. the priest heals for that matter affecting all chars too but the are no aoe spell.

the priest cards arn't spells but theurgys, but i see what you're saying. Counciler Ishaia is a little overwhelming sometimes is all i guess. Beatable, but not without a lot of effort and a bit of luck.
