[FAQ] Foil cards
1) These powerful cards are called Foil.
2) Each time you get a card, there's a chance for it to be a Foil.
3) These cards start with a litlle experience (20 points) and gain more experience when used (usually one point).
4) The merging of a Foil card and a normal one will produce a Foil card.

No. Ironically I tend to hit lowest damage often with my foil Malyss. 
The only difference between a foil and a non-foil card is that the foil one sparkles and gets +1 more experience per game than the other.

Absolutely the Sphinx will end up being foil. For any case of upgrading - If ONE of the cards you need to upgrade is foil - the outcome will also be a foil card.

Hey, I own a foil Guardian's Benediction and i need crystals pretty desperately. I want to put it up for sale on the market but i don't know how many crystals i should put it up for because it doesn't seem to be for sale. Can someone please give me a suggestion to how many crystals would make sense to sell it for? And I'm not an idiot, I'm not going to put it up for 200 crystals

In that case I tend to put them up for 10 times the average price of the non-foil. So, if Guardian's Benediction is going for 600 (just an example) I'd put it up for 6,000.

Just to get this crystal clear can I level up a foil card and it will remain foil? Merging and leveling up seem to be the same but im just double checking.

If by collector you mean a card you get after an event you just have to be very lucky when you finish the event.

Ok so if I get a foil from the advent calender or some event, and merge it with a card that I bought in the market, can I sell it once it's foil, because I know you can't sell cards you get from events and I woulnd't want to foil an expensive card and then not be able to sell it lol

I believe you can only sell a card made from a sale-able card and a non sale-able card is if the sale-able card was a rare.
