Most decks are hit pretty bad, Saps, Tracker, Pack, and Crow among many others will have little to no representation due to a few small cards. Bestial/Volk, Malyss/Tsuro rounding out a tracker team, and others are down the drain and as long as RoD is there Noz Mage will be the deck of choice as it will offer the most overall damage through common cards. RoD Recycle Magic...not hard to put Aero, Pilk, Anryena together with a deck revolved around RoD since its already being done with FotP.

I like the rules though I just wish RoD wasn't allowed and some others were.

I'll be participating none the less, RoD in hand or not lol.

No rare or legendary

Deck:
no legendary
0-3 rare
0-9 uncommon (going above 6 means some uncommons take rare slots)
11-20 common (going above 11 means some commons take uncommon or rare slots)

To be honest, all of you are focusing too much on RoD. That is deadly only IF a Noz Mage able to draw 2 in starting deck AND have the initiative first. Even then, a Noz Mage need to have enough Spirit to pull off a one shot kill. Without Prophet (which incidentally is rare), I doubt a Noz mage will have enough Spirit unless he hits the turn bonus.

Although he might pull off a one shot kill, will his Noz Mages survive the next few turns to kill again? Defense is quite low, not enough damage spells due to Arcanium, Lightning Bolts being rare, etc. What if they encountered a high spirit deck?

I am highly doubt Noz Mages will be overpowered. I think they will be balanced in this tournament, just like any other decks.

A brainstorming is necessary to make a good deck , its one reason of this format.
All tournament decks in ELO are composed with 90% rare or event cards.

Its why we decide to allowed onli common and uncommon card in this tournament.

Informations about Registration :

- Registration will be open from Monday 01/17 to Friday 01/28
To complete your registration you'll have
1) To buy a [card]Shadow Idol[/card] from YojimbOo
2) To send to YojimbOo a Private Message ingame with your valid mail adress

- Matches will be Best-of-3 : first player to score 2 wins is the winner of the round

- You don't have to submit a decklist for the duration of the tournament.
You are allowed to change your deck in between rounds.
You are allowed to change cards from your deck between two games against the same opponent.
You are not allowed to change your characters between two games against the same opponent.

Example : for round 1 I'm paired against John Doe. I choose to battle with Aez, Aku and Amaya. We'll play 2 or 3 games, and I'll have to stick with them. However I can 'side in' some cards, like [card]Freeze![/card] if needed.

- Multi-accounting is forbidden ! You are not allowed to register multiple accounts of yours, Feerik will be checking all players !
