Runic armor

Is there a reason i cannot equip runic armor and gauntlet on the same character?
Why can't i equip runic armor on 3rd evo Lord Galmara (Kotoba-Zil path)?

Only one type of armor may be equipped on one character, if you could stack armors like that.. I can't imagine what will happen

nm...i tried it again and it overrode the runic armor...tho i was certain i'd had the shield and runic armor equipped on hares at the same time before...hmmmm. mebbe just my imagination. i did notice that if you equip tsume you can stack a life devourer but if you equip the knife first tsume overrides it and the knife is discarded....also you can't dual wield using adventure. when i have one life devourer equipped and use adventure with a different character to give the former a second life devourer....the one he already has is discarded. o.O
