Surrender Button

Everyone has gotten to the point in a game where its obvious they have no chance of winning.
Add a surrender button to let them quit without impacting their fair play rating.

Obviously the winner would get full credit for winning.

For my point of view at least this would substantially increase how much fun I have playing... I gets really frustrating playing against people when its obvious you have no chance of winning.

Re : Surrender Button

just let time run out and leave a message to your oponent if it is worthy it

Teacher: Wake up Calvin! This is Geography class! In what state do you live in?
Calvin: Denial!
Teacher: I can't argue with that...

Doesn't a timeout still hurt your fairplay rating?
And not everyone speaks the same language... So they might not understand if you mailed.

Plus this way you can ensure they are properly creditted for the win with respect to XP and trophies.

Re : Surrender Button

I think is a good idea. But for it to work properly the surrender button may only be active after turn 2.

I'd say after turn 3.  By then, each character has been through combat with another.  Never know, one may get murdered from each side, expectedly or not.  I've had some strange turnabouts.

Somewhere between happiness and dreading the Apocalypse.
See where your character cards stand against the full list.

Re : Surrender Button

this is a GREAT idea,
though i think the only problem would be that the number of PERFECT games you get are going to reduce drastically when people giveup when all but one of their characters is alive and there's no chance he'll survive the next turn..

Good point... They would probably need to consider how it interacts with perfects... Either counts as a perfect... or perhaps a separate trophy for surrenders wink (though thats probably a bad idea)

Re : Surrender Button

I'm just thinking it has the possibility of being abused...
Getting a friend to quit so you can earn a perfect.
