newbie: need suggestion for courtesan deck

right know my characters are:
oogoe kage 3
lord galmara 3 (zil)
iro 3

actions:
3x cheers
3x pot seduction
2x vodoo
overwhelming victory
blast off
simple dagger
2x short sword
armed and ready

i try to build this deck since the price is very cheap compared to other deck

so, what else should i add for action card?
and is there any better substitute for iro, since he is not courtesan?

i tested with hasna, but her stats is no good and i can't play with the order effect

i heard about kimiko, but i dont understand how to play with her. she can't do normal attack, so it means that i only use her to finish the remaining hp of the opponents, but from my testing, usually the opponent still have around 3-5 hp left (since it's not always voodo+cheers, or cheers is not maximized due to different guild).

anyone can help me? thank you

Well a courtesan deck isnt that cheap after all, first one of the most important cards in the deck is overwhelming victory, so u need to buy two more, second and the most expensive card is manipulation and you need 3 (3x 29k) and another card who help kimiko ability is tea ceremony (about 7k each).  Then about cheap cards if u r going to use lord galmara and oogoe kage u can have 2 simple daggers, and 2 short swords and 3 dexecity (I think that´s the name for the english card) and if u want always add 2 smahs the wall and sunburn.

I am running a courtesan deck right now too..

I play [card]Kimiko[/card] with the kage and galmara.
1 [card]Tea ceremony[/card]
2 manipulation (looking to buy the third, it is an enormous card! And after all, a good call with kimiko!)

[card]The council's decision[/card] is a must in the deck, IMHO. Can really make some nice tricks and avoid some nasty cards!

[card]Overwhelming victory[/card] must be played 3x, it is a card that you always want in your hand.
I do not play the Voodoo, because it becomes useless with kimiko..

I would consider [card]Versatility[/card].. It makes +1 atk/+1 def for the kage and galmara, and a +2 health and +1 def with kimiko. And it does chain. Not too bad.

The first cards I want to add are:
[card]Tadaa! you're a bunny![/card] - for kimiko
Upgrading the weapons seems costly for me, right now..
3rd [card]Manipulation[/card]
Councilor Ishaia - will have to wait quite a bit for that...
[card]The Best Defense...[/card]

If we are talking about expensive cards u can add vapire daggers and emperor´s speach and use them woth yout kootbas courtesans.-

thank you guys,
that's really inspiring

at least it's cheaper than other deck such as kotoba/zil deck etc
and i can get the card one by one since the price is around 3k-7k
the hardest part is only manipulation

Manipulation is expensive, I agree. But it makes quite a difference, if you run [card]Manipulation[/card] and [card]Three Cheers to our Champ![/card], you have a big edge against Zil and Kotoba, but I would limit the cheers to two.
Overwhelming Victory works well with Kimiko, the +2 health is quite good and usually makes her survive to 3 attacks.
If you play Kimiko, try to play more defensively... The council's decision can be played for free on Kimiko in the first 3 rounds if you play a Overwhelming Victory afterwards, so making a small bet on an opponent who might play an item might be a nice move.

Let me know if you try anything similar/different!
I have big problems only against Noz now, but I am trying to find a solution. [card]Treacherous[/card]?

i've planned to get my 3rd overwhelming card, and 2-3 versatility, and then add kimiko and tea ceremony.
but unluckily, kimiko price has just raised up (damn!, do market read this thread? lol)
btw, isn't kimiko effect is underpowered without tea ceremony combo?

ah, and why play defensive?
isn't the reason to add kimiko is to finish up the remaining hp at the begininning of 2nd turn (2times show up, +1ceremony, 6dmg/enemy)?

I think Hasna is great. Especially if you play defence ([card]Potion of Seduction[/card] and [card]Armed and ready[/card] are 2 cheap solutions) . The nomads also have great cards such as [card]Under The Sun[/card] and [card]Solaris[/card]. However Solaris would be wasted on Kimiko and it isn't cheap but it can be an ace up the sleeve (this card made the difference so many times for me).

But a little question... Where do I get Tadaa! You're a bunny from?

Well, most decks are vunarable once you survive the first blast. I just faced Kimiko and is almost unkillable with Manipulation + Overwhelming Victory. Think of her acting as a shield while your other character do the real dmg....

Exactly! On the first round, pair Kimiko with the opponent with the highest defense from the opponent. Usually it has low damage and with a Potion of Seduction or any other buff, will do almost no damage. If possible, play her on the first round. If she loses some HP, they will be recovered with OV cast with the other 2 characters (+2 HP on her!). It is not unusual to end up with a kimiko at 13 HP after the first 3 characters have been played! A lot of times, Kimiko is THE card that survives, while your 2 warriors die and kill the opposing 3 characters!
When I say Play defensively, I was thinking about this...
If you are in doubt between casting an [card]Overwhelming Victory[/card] or a +3 [card]Three Cheers to our Champ![/card], go for the OV. If you want to chain on first round and you have [card]Potion of Seduction[/card] and [card]Versatility[/card], go for the potion. Play your short sword on the first turn, no damage now, but more damage later...

I made some minor modifications to my deck.
I play now a Sunburn, Anathematize, Steal, Treacherous, Tsume. I have now one or two dead cards per game and chain a bit less than before, but I have much better answers to a lot of decks. Up to now, 82 Victories and 20 defeats, around 1700 ELO (can't find opponents now, boring!) and 1850/1900 permanent ELO.
The deck became full of 1x or 2x cards, which are situational in fact...
I noticed that everything I need, damage and defense, can be obtained with 3 weapons, 3 OV and 3 Manipulations. Everything else for me became: find the best answers to your opponent!
