Crow Deck

Hey all, currently trying to come up with a decent crow deck list.

As it stands, I have both level 3s of [card]Oogoe Kage[/card], a level 3 [card]Gan'so[/card], and a level 4 [card]Karasu Kage[/card].
I also am currently levelling a [card]Malyss[/card], which is level 2.

I have three of all crow-affiliated cards (excluding [card]Tsume[/card], but I'm working on that) and I'm sort of after help with making a decklist.

I may use the marauder level 3 version of [card]Oogoe Kage[/card] with [card]Karasu Kage[/card] for best use of [card]Assassination[/card], mostly due to my lack of funds currently in regards to buying [card]Wakizashi[/card].

P.S. Can a [card]Simple Dagger[/card] be dual-wielded with [card]Tsume[/card]? I'm assuming no, but I figured I'd ask anyways.

I´m playing [card]Oogoe Kage[/card], [card]Malyss[/card] and [card]Karasu Kage[/card].

All are maxed. I have got every raven-card and all I can say is:

Stay away from this deck! It´s bull**** (pardon).
The idea about it, is very nice. Lower Spirit and attack it with Tsume.
But there just a few cards for it. No good effects and beside Karasu Kage no good characters.

I couldn´t win against another Guild exluding Nomads.

I've had decent success with my Crow deck prior to getting my 2 Tsume...haven't tried it yet with them, but here is my plan....

Oogoe Kage (Marauder version)
Karasu Kage
Malyss

3 Karajutsu - this card just adds soooo much offense to the deck when played by Malyss

3 Disagreement - helps keep Malyss alive, plus is pure defense once you get a Tsume equipped

2 Ice Barrier - added defense for all

2 Katamaru - one way to get around those high spirit opponents.  With just a Karajutsu or two, and a Katamaru, Malyss can be a beatstick.

2 Distraction - once you have a Tsume equipped, this card effectively lowers your opponent to no defense against your attack.

1 Assassination - all i currently have

2 Tsume, 1 Restored Honor - Restored Honor helps you get one of your 2 Tsume.

2 Overwhelming Victory - helps raise Oogoe Kage's offense and everyone's defense...I'd replace these with Manipulations once I can afford them.

2 Bleeding - not sure on this card...effectively only a 1 point gain if you have a tsume attached, though it is more of a Mage meta card...and is a chain, so really isn't that much of a dead card...

I do have one Life Devourer, which is also dual wield...currently saving for a second...they may make a spot in the deck too.

Thing is, you may think that there are too many cards only playable by one character, but with the fact that you have a lot of chains (especially spells with Malyss), it's not that big of an issue, but you do have to be willing to discard aggressively.  Don't hold onto stuff..if you only play one card, discard another so you are constantly cycling your deck.

And yes, Wakizashis are faster than Life Devourers, but Life Devourers give you built in healing too.  And since the Daggers are around 15K cheaper than the Wakizashis currently....the daggers it is...

It would be dual-wield-able due to the effects of the dagger, since the dagger says dual wield. Not Tsume's effect...

Thanks for the advice guys I've managed to get two Tsume's and I'm currently training up a Malyss for use.  Not sure I can afford Life Devourers thiough, but I'll try to.

Trophy card from a couple of weeks ago...had to do 1000 points of magic damage.

When played, it randomly picks an item from the character's caste from your deck and plays it...so...

in this deck, you play restored honor on either Kage, and the card will go through your deck for a Tsume, since it is the only Crow Caste item in your deck

A trophy I failed to get, only having Kotoba decks that weren't Crow or mage

Now that you are building your crow deck, you have an opportunity to complete the task!  Wait for the trophy to appear in the store, and go to town...From what I heard, Crow decks with Tsume were one of the best ways to complete the trophy...it'll just make your deck flow better...
