What are the restrictions for guemelites? I'm a little confused, for instance the shadow can play dark light although he's not a mage (this I understand) but does being a guemelite mean he can play any shadow spell regardless of the race/class restrictions.
Another example is Cigue he's a nature guemelite does this mean that he can play magic poison as this is a nature spell?

Guemelites can play their respected elements spells.
Example: Amaya that is a Lightning Guemelite can play Static Charge. Shadow Guemelites can play Shadow spells regardless of being a warrior or Maurauder. So on and so forth. As long as it's not guild restricted, they can play a spell that is their element.

Cigue does NOT belong to the Saps guild. So it can't use the Root card.
