negative defense
is it possible to make my enemy negative defense using hypnotic melody?

Well, technically it does go into negatives, but the card only shows zero. If you lower the opponents defense lower then zero, they would still need to make it up before going positive again.
For Example- If your opponent has a 2 defense, and you lower it by 3 with melody, then they played a card that gave +1 defense, it would still show as zero. But if they chained a card that gave another +1 defense, it would raise to 1.
