Yep, they both merge upon getting max xp at level 2.

Well, as one's a War Guemelite and a mage, they can both use War Spells, so Katamaru is a good choice as a card.
Beyond that, I'm not sure.

hime aku akujin 3 x katamaru , some random marauder cards and a pair of mage cards fireballs , static charges , whatever u got
