question about cards

I dont understand the card Storm
does it  take three health away from only the opponent
and
about three cheers for your champ
lets say you have two courtesans and one kotoba guy
and the courtesans both share the same guilds
if one of the courtesans plays the card how much additional attack does he get

The storm is rather simple, it makes each characters in play lost 1 to 3 health.
And yes, by each chars I mean you and your opponent's get the same effect.

Three cheers, kinda adds your attack according to the number of chars with the same guild as the caster, the caster himself probably not included in adding the attack score. That's why the max attack score gained by this card is only +5

I saying could you get
+1 for kotaba of normal character
+1 for kotaba of other courtesan
and +1 for the other courtesan's other matching guild?

and with Ken sensei when it says double all bonuses that you get this turn does it include the attack bonus of a previously equiped weapon or lets say the attack bonus from the card overwhelming defeat that was played on another character the previous turn?

Yep, the damage increases for every chars with the same guild, but the one using cheers is excluded from the count. So the max damage that can be gained by this card is +5 just like what I posted earlier. Just imagine it like crowds of people cheer you up, you are not cheering yourself up right? big_smile

Kensensei will doubles every attack bonus. Whether it's from weapon or perma like OV.
Even so, be careful though if your kensensei was played after attack debuff card like bunny,, be prepared to see your char's attack become almost zero.
