The Opening!
As from today until the 9th of December 2010 at 9h00 (french time), a new trophy is available.
Hurry you don't have much time!
To win this, you will have to boost your characteristics (Spirit/Attack/Defense) to 1000 by playing Item cards. You will win the "Opening" card and the title "The Interdependent One".

I would like to clarify how the counting for this week's trophy works, I've been getting ~16 points in a game and I don't know why haha

For one game i've been awarded 17 points, let me explain how this works.
I played 3 [card]Life Devourer[/card] and 2 [card]The Emperor's Speech[/card].
Each Dagger raised my attack by 3. And each sword raised both, attack and defense by 2.
Let's add this up:
3 attack (dagger 1)
+ 3 attack (dagger 2)
+ 3 attack (dagger 3)
+ 2 attack (sword 1)
+ 2 defense (sword 1)
+ 2 attack (sword 2)
+ 2 defense (sword 2)
----------------
17 total points
Each point of attack, defense or spirit your items raise is worth one point for this trophy.

I wonder if a weapon that activates the same turn the character who equipped it dies does count for the trophy points.

Well my deck only contains 3 potion of fury and 3 temple sword as items, so according to what I understand I should be getting:
3+3+3+2+2+2 = 15 points.
But there are some games where I earn 14 points (which is numerically impossible given three 3's and three 2's) and more than 15 points (which I should probably not be earning haha!)
Any help would be appreciated although I am not complaining since I originally thought this trophy would take forever, atm I'm 40% through with it.

Trackers seem to work extremely well for this event. +32 in one game.

My record is +43 (Trackers), each jewel is +6 (if all characters are alive), each mask is 3, if you pull out shuriken at the start .. thats +2 each turn (or +12 for 6 round battle)
I imagine sap hearts (IHAS deck) being the fastest way.

The main buff is an action, not an item.

I´m playing with a Dragon Knight deck for this event...
Each [card]Draconian Sword[/card] gives you +6 (with three DK alive), and each [card]Dragon Armor[/card] it´s a nice +2
It isn´t the fastest way, but it works
