Kotoba. At the moment, I'm using Xin and Asajiro.. (spear guy)
I have two ice walls (+2 def whole team)
and.. no money.
I have a level 3 dagg master up for sale, as well as a level 3 bloodsword.
thinking of picking up manipulation, but no money.

Depending on your funds, you will have mixed experiences with Ishaia. She is a powerful character even without Courtesan cards and even more powerful with them.

If you have sufficient funds, feel free to get some good cards like Manipulation, Council's Decision and other tastey morcels to use with her.

If you like Kotoba a lot, you could run Lord Galmara (Shadow) and Oogoe Kage (Warrior Form) to make a well balkanced Courtesan team to back up your Ishaia.

sell it for loads of crystals and build up a 1900+ elo deck like i did

Unless you have another 200k in crystals to build a Court deck around Ishia I would sell it like Cezco said. You can build a great Kot deck with the crystals you would get for selling her. My suggestion, if you really want to keep her don't sell.

well I'm putting her in the deck because of her ability to boost defence with ice wall. (each one is +2 defence for all characters.)

If I were you, I would sell it in order to buy a lot of cards for building several powerful deck. Of ourse, depend on what you think.
